SARATOGA SPRINGS — A panel discussion on current US-Russia relations, highlighting Russia’s geopolitical strategies in Europe and the Middle East, will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 26, in the Harry Dutcher Community Room of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, on Henry Street.
Featured panelist Katherine Graney, chair of the Skidmore College Government Department, will be joined by former State Department employee Philip Diamond and former Mayor Kenneth Klotz - two charter members of the Board of Directors of the Saratoga Springs-Chekhov Sister City organization.
All three panelists were part of the May 2001 delegation to Chekhov, Russia, to sign the Sister City agreement with then Chekhov Mayor Gennady Nedoseka. At the completion of the panel discussion there will be time for questions from the audience. The event is free and open to the public.
