Saratoga TODAY Hires Regional Expert

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Ciara Austin has joined the team at Saratoga TODAY newspaper. She will be reporting on horse racing, the equine community and the thriving Saratoga social scene.

“I think she is going to be a great addition to our freelance team,” said Publisher Chad Beatty. “I have been following her work for a while and believe this relationship will be a win/win for everyone involved, especially our readers.” 

From 2014-2015, Austin was the Brand Ambassador with America’s Best Racing and has been a freelance writer and analyst for the sport of horse racing ever since. She has recently started her own Digital Marketing Consultant business, Social By Ci that focuses on Social Media Management, Digital Marketing and Brand Development. She is also the author of a blog, Ciaratoga.com, where she focuses on horse racing analysis, handicapping, fashion and lifestyle trends.

"Saratoga Today is a staple publication within the community of Saratoga Springs and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to share my insights on horse racing and the lifestyle of Saratoga Springs," Austin said via email. Austin is a graduate of Skidmore College.
