Maurices to Hold Food Drive Drive to Benefit Franklin Community Center Inc.

SARATOGA SPRINGS  Maurices, Wilton Mall is holding a Food Drive drive to benefit Franklin Community Center, Inc.

"While we participate in a number of maurices-sponsored benefits throughout the year, we are especially proud when we have the opportunity to support causes right here at home," says Store Manager Melinda Smith.

The Food Drive drive begins on Saturday June 1 and continues through Sunday June 30. Customers can drop off their donations any time during store hours, which are M-Sat 10 a.m.9:30 p.m. Sun 11 a.m.6 p.m. Items needed include Non-perishable foods.

For each donation, people will receive a coupon for 20 percent off any one regular-priced maurices item. maurices offers clothing and accessories for fashion-savvy young women in sizes 1 to 18.

"This drive is just one way we can express how grateful we are to be a part of this community," says Smith. "We invite customers to be part of this effort and look forward to giving them a special deal on an item from maurices in return."

The campaign began on Friday, March 15, and continued until Sunday, March 17.
