Wilton Democrats Prepare for Fall Election

By Staff Report | Local Briefs

WILTON  In order to provide expanded choices for town voters in this November's Local Election, Wilton Democrats have scheduled a preparation meeting to develop a platform of campaign issues and a slate of candidates.

Focus will be on prospective Democratic candidates for Town Supervisor, Clerk, Highway Superintendent and two council people. Interested people of other political organizations will be welcome for consideration.

"The limits are in place on Wilton's potential development as it approaches it's closing phases bythe current town board's opinion that we should not follow the building and zoning codes and regulations."

Our elected officials/public servants have substituted the resident's preferences with their own system of variances and decisions."

Additional information may be obtained by contact with Daniel Tagliento at (518) 584-6966 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

All Wilton residents are invited to attend and participate in the discussions which will hopefully return Citizen's control to our Home town's government.

The meeting will be held at the Susman Room of the Saratoga Springs Library, May 15 at 7 p.m.
