SARATOGA SPRINGS - On Saturday, June 24, VENT Fitness, the Capital District’s locally owned fitness brand, celebrated the first weekend of summer by opening its new boutique studio location at 307 Broadway.
VENT Studio is a 4,600-square-foot space, formerly occupied by Talbot’s, that sits in the Congress Park Centre building at the highly visible intersection of Congress and Broadway, making it almost impossible to miss as residents and visitors enter the heart of historic Saratoga Springs.
In addition to housing 30 luxury rental apartments, Congress Park Centre is home to AYCO/Goldman Sachs and a number of national tenants including Banana Republic, Alex and Ani, Ann Taylor, The Gap, Key Bank, FedEX Kinkos, and Chicos, as well as the locally based Classical Concepts Salon and Spa. A key convenience feature is a controlled 500-spot parking lot for tenants, visitors and customers.
Saratoga marks the fifth VENT location. However, unlike its full-service sister clubs, VENT Studio will focus primarily on dynamic cardio, MMA inspired workouts, and strength-based interval training programs in a uniquely designed, energetic environment, driven by a custom playlist and an occasional live DJ. VENT Fitness Studio will feature a modern lounge space, fully updated locker rooms, adequate shower space, a shake bar and a retail shop.
Bill Lia, Jr., along with his brothers Michael and Vincent, have owned and operated fitness clubs in the Capital District since 1991. In 2013 the former Gold’s Gym franchised clubs were reinvented by the brothers as VENT Fitness.
VENT Studio is currently offering one free session and free giveaways to anyone who takes a session through June 30. All VENT Studio memberships include a “Level III membership” (the highest tier) with exclusive access to all four of the other VENT Fitness locations.
