Dear Mona,
For some reason my mom doesn't like it when I try to see what's happening on the counters. She calls it counter-surfing and doesn't like it for some reason. I'm a big dog and I can put my front paws up there easily - I just want to be part of the action and help her cook. How can I convince my mommy that it's OK? #parentsjustdon'tunderstand.

Dear Stella,
Counters aren’t for pets. I am short and have no chance of putting my paws on the counter but I know when my sister cat, Rummy gets up there that she’s not supposed to. Counters need to be clean so that the food that your mom is preparing is safe and healthy for her. If you sit nicely and watch your mom, I’ll bet you’ll get a treat. #yougettolickthefloorinstead
