Since childhood, David Wolfe was engaged with various sports such as baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball and track and field. Competitors were most of the time taller or bigger compared to his small body frame, so the David and Goliath storyline was a consistent theme he revisited in sports.
In high school, he wrestled and attended Dan Gable’s Wrestling Camp in Iowa. There he learned how the body could be conditioned with great strength and agility by tapping into the mental capacities of the mind. After getting certified in fitness and nutrition and graduating from SUNY New Paltz with a B.A. and Masters in Professional Studies in Humanistic/Multicultural Education, David saw the need to pass along to others what he has learned about the mind-body relationship. For over fifteen years he has helped a diverse population of individuals and groups work towards optimal health at a number of different fitness facilities and has designed unique boot camp classes as well as tailored one-on-one fitness and wellness programs.
Now 35 years old, with extensive knowledge of training styles and approaches in his training tool belt, David hopes to continue helping all people achieve optimal health in a meaningful way.

Wolfe’s Fitness Tip of the Week: Classic Pushup
Welcome to Wolfe’s Fitness Tip of the Week. This week I deliver the classic Pushup. Instead of making it just an upper body exercise, make it a total body experience by clenching the glutes throughout the entire motion. The Pushup is a great for increasing blood flow and oxygen to the brain and body, as well as a great abdominal blaster.
