Saratoga TODAY Newspaper announces new partnership with SaratogaMama.com

By | News

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Saratoga TODAY Newspaper and SaratogaMama are teaming up in 2013 to provide Saratoga County with a new resource for parents raising children. According to Saratoga TODAY owner, Chad Beatty, the newspaper has acquired an ownership stake in the website SaratogaMama.com. As a result of the partnership, Saratoga TODAY announced a new quarterly print publication titled SaratogaMama Magazine, which will debut at the end of February.

“I am very excited for all the possibilities this partnership will create, which will include among other things, magazines, contests and events. Our primary goal with this partnership is to help our readers with the most important task a family can undertake: raising children,” said Chad Beatty, owner of Saratoga TODAY Newspaper.

Colleen Pierre, the owner of SaratogaMama.com, originally started the website MaltaMama.com in January 2010 and launched SaratogaMama.com in September 2011.  The website was hailed as a resource for “what to do with kids, how to live better, have more fun, find events and connect with your community.”

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Saratoga TODAY on the launch of the brand new SaratogaMama Magazine and SaratogaMama.com. SaratogaMama continues to be the only truly dedicated family resource for Saratoga County so the magazine is a natural extension of our brand,” said Pierre.

SaratogaMama Magazine will be both enjoyable for parents and for kids. New features - like craft ideas, kid’s games, kid reviews, and opportunities for kid’s artwork submission - will make this magazine unique and exciting. Other features will include: Ask the Expert, Style and Design, Health and Wellness, Cooking with Kids, Family Outings and Events and resource guides.

“Our partnership with Colleen Pierre on SaratogaMama Magazine and our equity stake in her family website, SaratogaMama.com, is a natural progression for us as we continue to grow in Saratoga County,” Beatty added.
