WILTON – Last week, New York State Police officials released a statement describing the June 9 arrest of Jonathan Hutchison, 42, of Gansevoort after an investigation that began in late May.
Hutchison was charged with one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree after he possessed and sold jewelry in the City of Saratoga Springs, which he had allegedly stolen from a home where he was working as a contractor.
Hutchison was processed and issued an appearance ticket for Saratoga Springs City Court returnable on July 13.
According to the statement, Hutchison works as a contractor in the Saratoga area. Officials are asking that anyone who has hired him and believe they may have been a victim but not reported it, or suspect that they might have jewelry or rare coins missing, to contact the State Police barracks in Wilton at 518-583-7010.
