Aric E. Lemon, 42, of Watervliet, pleaded Sept. 15 to felony DWI, in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Jan. 12, 2022.

Bonnie L. Wright, 47, of Poultney, VT, was sentenced Sept. 17 to 2 years prison and 1 year post-release supervision, after pleading to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree in Wilton. 

Kristopher M. Flores, 36, of Troy, was sentenced Sept. 17 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony grand larceny, and offering a false instrument for filing felony, in Wilton, and Clifton Park, respectively. 

POLICE

Kathryn Fasano, 47, of Schenectady, was charged Sept. 20 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated criminal contempt, a felony. 

Ian Ward, 29, of Stoddard, New Hampshire, Bryce Ward, 24, of Saratoga Springs, Tyeise Williams, 27, of Troy, Reis Baker, of Ballston Spa, and Marquasia Chandler, 22, of Albany, were each charged with disorderly conduct in connection with alleged incidents that occurred on Caroline Street Sept. 18-19. Chandler was additionally charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. 

Akeem Cummings, 28, of Troy, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI and aggravated DWI, driving on/across a sidewalk, and failure to keep right.

Christina Reid, 25, of Troy, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with obstruct governmental administration, a misdemeanor. 

Naqweshia Hooks, 24, of Albany, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with felony assault, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. 

Christopher Brewer, 39, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 17 with criminal contempt, and strangulation – both felonies, and criminal obstruction of breathing, and assault – both misdemeanors. 

Devin Palozzi, 26, of Rochester, was charged Sept. 17 in Saratoga Springs with felony criminal mischief, the misdemeanors: DWI, aggravated DWI, unlawful imprisonment, as well as refusal to take a breath test, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, driving on/across a sidewalk, and operating an unregistered vehicle.   

Ethan Bruhns, 25, of Clifton Park, was charged Sept. 17 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, refusal to take a breath test, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Yisel Martinez, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 14 with criminal mischief, a felony. 

Jessica Akyiano, 48, of Hudson Falls, was charged Sept. 14 in Saratoga Springs with unlawful imprisonment – a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct. 

Timothy Smith, 69, of Gloversville, was charged Sept. 15 in Saratoga Springs with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. 

Ryan Edwards, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 15 with false imprisonment, a misdemeanor. 

Bryan M. Brust, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 13 with grand larceny, criminal mischief, and burglary following an investigation into a burglary that occurred at the McDonald’s on Church Ave. Brust is suspected of breaking into the establishment after hours, stealing food and other items and willfully destroying property belonging to the McDonalds Corporation. 

Nicholas Bush, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 11 with misdemeanor DWI, and speeding. 

Troy Zyjee, 27, of Troy, was charged Sept. 12 in Saratoga Springs with false impersonation, a misdemeanor. 

Anuradha Khanna, 54, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 12 with two counts criminal tampering.

Christy L. Batcher, 43, of Waterford, was charged Sept. 9 with two felony counts grand larceny in the third-degree, and one felony count grand larceny in the fourth-degree, following a Sheriff’s Department investigation of alleged larcenies that occurred in the town of Clifton Park between March 25 and May 19. Batcher, self-employed as a house cleaner, is suspected of stealing several items of jewelry and silverware from elderly clients and exchanging those items for currency at a local establishment.

Thomas McCall, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 8 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Patrick Weatherwax, 27, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 8 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and following too closely.

Madison McCoy, 21, of Mechanicville, was charged Sept. 8 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, and failure to keep right. 

Tyler Jackson, 29, of Queensbury, was charged Sept. 8 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation, and two vehicle certificate violations. 

Henry Ciccone, 46, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 9 with felony assault, and the misdemeanors: criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Axel Dominguez, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 9 with felony grand larceny. 

Jordan Hensleigh, 30, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 10 in Saratoga Springs with criminal impersonation, and criminal contempt. Both charges are misdemeanors. 

Linda L. Nevins, 71, of South Glens Falls, was charged Sept. 9 with leaving the scene of a personal injury auto accident - a felony, in connection with an alleged incident that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8 on Route 9 in the Town of Moreau. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, the offending vehicle fled the scene, and the victim suffered serious injury and was brought to Albany Medical Center for further treatment. 

Adam O’Brien, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 3 with criminal mischief, assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing – all misdemeanors. 

Axel Dominguez, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 1 with reckless driving – a misdemeanor, and four driving related violations. 

James Monaco, 23, of Staten Island, was charged Sept. 4 in Saratoga Springs with obstructing a governmental administration. 

Kelli Brissette, 39, of Gansevoort, was charged Sept. 4 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and failure to use designated lane. 

Andrew Keefer, 33, of Greenfield Center, was charged Sept. 4 in Saratoga Springs with disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest – a misdemeanor. 

Margaret Camejo, 40, of Folsom, Louisiana, was charged Sept. 4 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, one misdemeanor and one felony count aggravated DWI, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. 

William Mavrides, 33, of Cohoes, was charged Sept. 5 in Saratoga Springs with disorderly conduct, and criminal possession of a controlled substance – a misdemeanor.

David Morris, 21, of Troy, was charged Aug. 29 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a firearm – both felonies, criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.  Narrative: At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 29, while on patrol, a Sheriff’s Deputy observed a 2005 Ford Freestyle SUV commit several traffic infractions. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver did not pull over. A short pursuit led to the vehicle crashing into a fence near the intersection of Rock Street and Maple Street. Morris, alleged to be the driver of the vehicle, was placed into custody. Two occupants of the vehicle fled on foot and were not apprehended. Cocaine is suspected to be in the car, and Morris is accused of unlawfully possessing a 9mm pistol. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Saratoga Springs Police Department. 

Chad Lang, 47, of Corinth, was charged Aug. 24 in Saratoga Springs with criminal trespass misdemeanor. 

Habiba Ibrahim, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Aug. 25 with felony criminal mischief. 

Scott Michalkiewicz, 45, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Aug. 25 with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. 

Glenn Massoth, 33, of Latham, was charged Aug. 25 in Saratoga Springs with two felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two felony counts criminal sale of a controlled substance.

POLICE

Chalmers D. Davis, 43, of Saratoga Springs was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon - which rises to a felony based on a previous conviction, in connection with an incident that occurred on Caroline Street on Aug. 10. 

Nikki J. Atanasio, 45, of Clifton Park, was charged Aug. 3 with criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, a felony, and harassment in the second-degree, a violation, after the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic incident call in Clifton Park where a man had allegedly threatened to kill a woman with a firearm, according to authorities. The results of a subsequent search warrant revealed a loaded Glock handgun with a defaced serial number and two loaded magazines, police said. 

Keojhi T. Branch, 26, of Catskill, was charged July 28 in the town of Milton with two counts of grand larceny and one count of identity theft. It is alleged that in April and May of 2020, Branch stole $4,395.18 in cash and merchandise. At the time, Branch was employed as a care provider in a residential facility for people with disabilities. Branch is suspected of taking a debit card belonging to a client and using that debit card to make unauthorized cash withdrawals and purchases for his personal benefit, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Branch is also accused of using an online retail account belonging to the victim to order merchandise for his benefit. 

James W. Major, 52, of Stillwater was charged Aug. 5 with the following misdemeanors: criminal contempt, criminal trespass, unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated operation of a motor vehicle, and with the traffic infraction: speed in zone. 

Frederick Volkman, 25, of Glens Falls, was charged Aug. 1 in Saratoga Springs with criminal trespass. 

Antonio Mercade, 22, was charged Aug. 1 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Richard Battistini, 22, of Amsterdam, was charged Aug. 1 in Saratoga Springs with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Ruby Daley, 21, of Troy, was charged Aug. 1 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, and failure to obey traffic control device. 

Robert Colvin, 43, of Northville, was charged Aug. 1 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Chad Lang, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Aug. 1 with criminal trespass.

Jesse R. Coleman, 37, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Aug. 2 to 1-1/2 years in prison and 1-1/2 years post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. 

Kristopher M. Flores, 36, of Troy, pleaded Aug. 2 to offering a false instrument for filing in the first-degree, a felony, in Clifton Park. Sentencing Sept. 27.

Brandon L. Sitts, 35, of Corinth, was sentenced July 29 to 6 years in prison, after pleading to felony burglary in the second-degree. 

Charles L. Bennifield, 21, of Greenfield Center, was sentenced July 29 to 1 year in jail, after pleading to reckless endangerment in the first-degree, in Saratoga. 

POLICE

Jonathan E. Trow, 39, of Ballston Lake, was charged Aug. 6 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, a felony due to a prior conviction. 

A 23-year-old Albany man was charged Aug. 5 in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Caroline Street in the early morning hours of June 26. Police said the shots fired incident took place at the intersection of Caroline Street and Broadway a short time and distance from where a stabbing had occurred. 

Dennis A. Combs III, 23, of Albany, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second-degree, and reckless endangerment in the first-degree. Both charges are felonies.  Combs was taken into custody in the city of Albany on a Saratoga County Superior Court warrant for the related charges and transported to the Saratoga Springs Police Department where he was processed and subsequently sent to Saratoga County Jail. 

Sean M. Cherven, 40, of Milton, was charged Aug. 7 with sexual abuse in the first-degree -a felony, sexual abuse in the second degree - a misdemeanor, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Cherven is accused of having sexual contact with a 13-year-old victim and an 11-year-old victim, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office. 

Parrish Johnson, 19, of Elloree, was charged July 26 in Saratoga Springs with assault in the third-degree. 

Kathleen Carroll, 48, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 26 with misdemeanor petit larceny. 

Jonathan Jurnak, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July b27 with criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, and assault in the third-degree. All three charges are misdemeanors. 

Jonathan Lawless, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 27 with misdemeanor DWI, and misdemeanor aggravated DWI.

POLICE

Shamiek A.H. Shorter, age 25, Schenectady, was charged July 25 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a weapon, operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate, and moved from lane unsafely. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash/ $10,000 bond. 

Kyree N. Graham, age 24, Albany, was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession weapon, and Amir L. O’Sullivan, age 22, Watervliet, charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance on July 23 in Saratoga Springs.  Graham is accused of unlawfully possessing a loaded .38 caliber Firestorm revolver and O’Sullivan of allegedly physically interfering with officers investigating the scene, and possessing MDMA.

Nicholas W. Kislowski, age 18, Ballston Spa, and Mitchell L. Madigan, age 18, Saratoga Springs, were each charged in Saratoga Springs July 20 and 22, respectively, with felony robbery in connection with an alleged incident June 1 on Schuyler Drive just off of Lake Avenue, where a 16-year-old boy had been robbed of personal property by a group of five “younger” people, according to Saratoga Springs Police. The victim suffered an arm injury as a result of the robbery.

John Mackey, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 23 with misdemeanor DWI, refusal to take a breath test, and four driving/vehicle related violations after being involved in a property damage accident on Beacon Hill Drive. 

Thomas Crandall, 26, of Ballston Spa, was charged July 24 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, and speeding. 

Francisco Rivera, 23, of Troy, was charged July 24 on Caroline Street with resisting arrest, harassment, assault w/intent to cause injury to a police officer as a felony, and disorderly conduct. 

Terence Pittman, 46, of Amsterdam, was charged July 23 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and following too closely. 

Michael Clark, 59, of Lexington, N.Y., was charged July 24 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and three driving/ vehicle violations. 

Daniel Pitman, 29, of Amsterdam, was charged July 25 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

David Govia, 53, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 24 with coercion in the third-degree, a misdemeanor. 

Leslie Cade, 29, of Schenectady, was charged July 26 on Caroline Street with falsely reporting catastrophe or emergency to official agency, a misdemeanor. 

Justin Harris, 33, of Greenport, was charged July 19 in Saratoga Springs with two felony counts grand larceny, misdemeanor assault, petit larceny, and criminal obstruction of breathing.

Devon M. Ostrander, 26, of Milton, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for strangulation in the second-degree, and 1.5 to 3 years prison for criminal contempt in the first-degree. 

Jesse A. Kelton, 45, of Pittsburg, California, pleaded July 21 to felony DWI in connection with an incident in Malta. Sentencing Sept. 9. 

Joshua C. French, 37, of Wilton, was sentenced July 21 to 1 to 3 years in state prison after pleading to felony DWI. 

Courtney L. Curley, 21, of Ballston, pleaded July 21 to felony DWI. Sentencing Sept. 21.

James L. Salvo, 40, of Schenectady, was sentenced July 21 to 2 to 4 years in state prison after pleading to felony grand larceny in connection with an incident in Clifton Park. 

John C. Heidrich was found guilty by jury in Saratoga County Court on July 21 of 16 charges related to a sexual and physical assault that occurred over a five-day-span in the town of Halfmoon, according to a statement released by Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. The jury found Heidrich guilty of multiple kidnapping and sexual abuse charges and he faces a potential maximum sentence of 25 years when sentenced in late September. The victim was a 57-year-old woman from the Boston, Massachusetts area whom Heidrich had met through a phone dating service, Heggen said, and whom Heidrich sexually and physically assaulted while forcibly confining her at his home. Sentencing is Sept. 29.

Antonio Mucci, 25, of Ballston Lake, was charged July 17 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, and failure to keep right, two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and refusal to take a breath test. 

Nelson Mangino, 26, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 17 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. 

Semaj Godfrey, 19, of Poughkeepsie, was charged July 16 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Laurie Fosina, 57, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 15 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, motor vehicle registration suspended, and operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate.

July 17 – July 23, 2021

COURT

Steven E. Willetts, of Waterford, pleaded guilty July 14 to course of sexual conduct against a child in the first-degree, in connection with multiple incidents that involved a child under the age of 13, for a period of more than two years. Sentencing scheduled for Sept. 16. 

James A. Duffy, of Johnstown, was sentenced July 14 in Saratoga County Court to 18 years-to-life, after pleading guilty to murder in the second-degree, in connection with the death of Allyzibeth Lamont. Duffy previously admitted to acting in concert with co-defendant Giorgios N. Kakavelos on Oct. 28, 2019 in actions resulting in the death of Lamont, who was 22. Kakavelos is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 19 and faces a maximum sentence of life without parole.    

Daniel L. Jones, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced July 14 to 3.5 years in jail and 2 years post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, in Wilton.

Tyaisha Tulloch, 22, of Ballston Spa, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, and an equipment violation. 

Louis Brown, 24, of Troy, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a controlled substance

Crystal Bears, 28, of Schenectady, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, refusal to take a breath test, obstruct governmental administration, resisting arrest, and moved from lane unsafely. 

Daniel Green, 25, of Catskill, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a weapon/loaded firearm – a felony, and disorderly conduct. 

Michelle Maffetone, 36, of Schenectady, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with two felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Jason Carter, 20, of Schenectady, was charged July 10 in Saratoga Springs with criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor. 

Gary Robertson, 35, of Gloverville, was charged July 11 in Saratoga Springs with making a terroristic threat, and disorderly conduct.

Eddie Plerqui, 22, of Troy, was charged July 11 in Saratoga Springs with circumvent interlock misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, and two driving violations. 

Daniel Ovland, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 11 with two counts criminal mischief. 

Johntay Jones, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 11 with harassment, menacing, false impersonation, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Five people were charged following a Saratoga Black Lives Matter protest on July 14. The protest commenced in Congress Park and moved its way around the downtown area. “Police first requested the group, which consisted of 60 or so people, to move out of the roadways. The request was repeated a few times, but was not accepted by the group. Police actions then took place to open up the roadways and this resulted in the arrests of five people,” city police said, in a statement.  Adam Walker, age 32, Albany, Arlo P. Zwicker, age 18, Saratoga Springs, Anthony Brown-Davis, age 32, Albany, and Michael D. Janidlo, age 36, Clifton Park, were each charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. Derek C. VanDermark, age 46, Ballston Spa, was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, and obstructing governmental administration in the second-degree, a misdemeanor. 

On July 12, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit charged Thomas J. Dingmon, 30, of Saratoga Springs, after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking in Saratoga County. Dingmon was located on an active NYS parole warrant by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit in the Town of Galway and was allegedly found to be in possession of over 250 bags of heroin, significant quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as an electric stun gun, and a large amount of US Currency, according to the sheriff’s office. Dingmon was sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail to await further proceedings. Charges: six felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one felony count criminal possession of a weapon. 

Jonah T. Figueras, 25, of Wilton, was charged July 15 with felony burglary, and felony criminal mischief. The alleged incidents occurred at the Pyramid Pines mobile home park, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office. 

Demetrick M. Rawlins, 24, of Hudson Falls, was charged July 9 with felony burglary, in connection with an alleged incident in Northumberland. Rawlins is accused of remaining unlawfully in the dwelling of another person, and stealing firearms and a motorcycle. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bond.

  • New York State Police The New York State Police announced that it issued 5,576 tickets during this year’s St. Patrick’s Day enforcement initiative. The campaign began on Friday, March 15, and continued until Sunday, March 17. During the campaign, funded by the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, State Police utilized sobriety checkpoints, additional DWI patrols, and underage drinking and sales to minors detail.
