How to resolve AdBlock issue? 
WILTON— A major three-car accident occurred between the intersection of Route 9 and Ballard Road on Saturday, February 15 that resulted in the hospitalization of five people.
The accident was caused when a man ran through a stoplight heading west on Ballard Road. Two other vehicles going in opposing directions along Route 9 then hit his vehicle.
The five people were sent to surrounding area hospitals with injuries ranging in severity. One of the drivers was sent for treatment of an internal head injury as well as a serious eye injury. One woman suffered lacerations; another with a neck injury while a young girl left with a head injury. Only one person escaped without harm.
The police say that the accident was not alcohol related but the man will still be ticketed for his offenses.
