Born February 9, 1929 in Staten Island and a graduate of Curtis High School, she was the daughter of John “Jack” Graham and Helen Ward Graham. Mrs. Doyle worked for LaRue engineering for 25 years in Saratoga before retiring.
Known as an avid gardener and member of the Day Lily Society, Mrs. Doyle was a learned gardener and specialist with rare day lilies and she enjoyed plant exchanges with fellow gardeners.
She was a 43-year member of the Saratoga Hospital Guild and enjoyed her time with colleagues there. She especially enjoyed attending the annual Saratoga Hospital fundraising dinner. In her later volunteering years with the Saratoga Hospital Guild, she was enthusiastic about her time working at Treasures on West Avenue. Over the years this tight-knight group of dedicated people represented many of her very best friends.
Mrs. Doyle is survived by her husband of 56 years, Walter, her children, John (Elisa), of Haddonfield, New Jersey; Mary Louise (James) of Chester County, Pennsylvania and James (OakSu) of Gulf Breeze, Florida and her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
