Natalie Older

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Natalie Older of Newton Avenue, Saratoga Springs, died Sunday, August 18 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving daughter and family. She was 75.

Born on July 9, 1938 in Malasiqui, Pang, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Franciso Del Rosario, and Angelina Manalo.

Natalie met her husband, Neal Thomas Older, while he was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. She moved back with her husband to the Saratoga Springs area over 49 years ago. Mrs. Older worked as a crossing guard and traffic control for the Saratoga Springs Police Department and the city of Saratoga Springs for over 37 years.

She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club #2586, Saratoga Springs, the American Legion Post 70, the VFW Post 420 and the PBA.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Older, of Arlington, Virginia.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, at the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs.

Mrs. Older will be interred on Friday, August 23, at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. alongside her husband.
