Saratoga Springs, NY –James "Jingles" Michael Natale Jr., passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 29, 2011. He was 63.
Born on September 26, 1948, in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late James J. and Rosa Gagne Natale. A member of the graduating class of 1967 at St. Peter's Academy, he was an outstanding football player and later inducted into the St. Peter's Academy’s Hall of Fame. A retired chef, cooking was one of his many passions and being a chef was one of his proudest accomplishments.
Jingles was loved by all who met him and he touched many lives with his infectious smile and charm. When Jingles met someone for the first time he would welcome them into his heart and they would feel as though they just made a lifelong friend. He would do anything to help his friends in any way he could.
He loved sports, especially golf, and enjoyed sharing these talents with his two daughters, and later in his life, with his three grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. When asked by his many friends how his grandchildren were, there was an instant glow about him.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie (Tom) Natale-Dwyer and Maria Natale; grandchildren, Morgan, Samuel and Lucy Dwyer; sisters, Mary-Louise (Michael) Coleman, Teresa (David) Periman and Rose (Rich) Mercier; brother, Anthony Natale; and several nieces and nephews.
Survivors also include his former wife and mother of his two children, Nancy (John) Mahar; their son, Loren Mahar; longtime partner, Carolyna Godlewski; and lifelong friend, Ridge Quoi.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, NY, (518) 584-5373.
