Saratoga Springs, NY- Stanley Weissman, 80, passed away January 29, 2011.
Stanley was born October 4, 1931, in the Bronx, New York, to European immigrants Morris and Anna.
Stanley is survived by his three sons, Seth (Gail Tallman), Lee and Neil (Ellen): grandchildren, Julie, Alex, Lindsey and Natalie; sister, Joan; and nieces, Stephanie and Valerie.
Stanley was a devoted father and loving husband for 54 years to his wife, Carole, who passed away in 2009. Stanley, a career pharmacist and lifetime resident of New York City was blessed with the good fortune to live out the final years of his life in the compassionate community of Saratoga Springs near his devoted son, Seth, and his daughter-in-law, Gail. Stanley left this earth with his loving family by his side and with a sense of goodness in the world in his heart. He found solace knowing that his beloved cat Simon would be well cared for by his family.
Special thanks are extended to his caring doctors and the staffs at Prestwick Chase, Saratoga Hospital and Wesley Health. Heartfelt gratitude is extended from his family to Gail, Stanley’s daughter-in-law and de facto daughter who generously and selflessly provided support and comfort during these last few years of his life. Stanley’s diligence and generosity will live on in perpetuity. May his spirit find everlasting peace, solace and unity with all that he has loved.
