David W. Appel, 56, of Circular Street, Saratoga Springs, was arrested May 16 and charged with robbery in the second degree, a Class C felony, assault in the second degree, a Class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor. Appel was arrested on a warrant in relation to a reported Domestic Dispute on May 11. Appel is alleged to have assaulted, damaged property and take property belonging to a female victim. Appel was processed and arraigned in City Court.
Jonathan Joseph Rivera, 23, of Wedgewood Drive, Saratoga Springs, was arrested May 17 and charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and resisting arrest. Officers responded to an area of Lake Ave between Nelson and East Ave for someone going through vehicles. Rivera was identified and placed under arrest. Rivera was processed and celled.
Lisa A. Harrington, 46, of Pyramid Pines, Saratoga Springs, was arrested May 17 and charged with DWI, aggravated driving while intoxication with a BAC more than .18%, a Class A misdemeanor. Officers stopped Harrington's vehicle on Clinton Street for vehicle and traffic violations. Harrington appeared to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DWI.
