COURT

Maxwell M. Leiser, age 31, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Jan. 4 to 1 year in jail, after pleading to driving while ability impaired by drugs, in Ballston. 

Kevin A. Rodriguez, age 27, of the Bronx, pleaded Jan. 4 to felony grand larceny, in Malta. Sentencing March 1. 

POLICE

Dina J. Martin, age 51, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 13 with aggravated unlicensed operation third degree- misdemeanor. 

Mohsan Iftikhar, age 24, Clifton Park, was charged Jan. 12 with fail to keep right; leaving the scene of an auto accident (property); driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor. 

Shawn L. Whitman, age 18, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 11 with petit larceny- misdemeanor. 

Richard E Hileman, age 35, Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 11 with aggravated harassment in the second degree- misdemeanor.

Eric H. Irving, age 39, of Gansevoort, was charged Jan. 12 with Criminal Mischief in the fourth-degree, and criminal contempt in the second-degree, in connection with charges stemming from the alleged violation of a temporary order of protection, in Wilton. 

Keegan A. Farrell, age 18, of Greenfield, was charged Jan. 10 with tampering with physical evidence – a felony, in connection with a Christmas night shooting that occurred on Hyspot Road. Farrell is accused of removing the shotgun involved in the shooting from the scene after the incident took place.  The weapon has not been recovered at this time and the investigation into its whereabouts continues, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. 

Robert A. Lawrence, age 47, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 10 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Uwe P. Tigor, age 54, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 9 with failed to stop at stop sign; aggravated unlicensed operation third degree- misdemeanor. 

Connor D. Wickert, age 17, Gansevoort, was charged Jan. 8 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Paul E. Christopher, age 32, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 8 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Amanda S. Walker, age 39, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 8 with grand larceny fourth degree/exceeds $1,000.00- felony.

Jenny D. Wells, age 40, Cossayuna, was charged Jan. 8 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor; aggravated unlicensed operation third degree - misdemeanor; unlawful use of mobile phones in motor vehicle. 

Scott A. Popsuj, age 47, Northbridge, Massachusetts, was charged Jan. 6 with fail to keep right; equipment (headlights); failed to stop at stop sign; driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor; aggravated driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor. 

Austin P. McGrath, age 25, Clifton Park, was charged Jan. 6 with speeding - posted zone; driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor. 

Christopher T. Faulkner, age 31, Rensselaer, was charged Jan. 6 with disorderly conduct; harassment second degree - physical contact; resisting arrest- misdemeanor. 

Nicholas F. Canterino, age 29, Scotia, was charged Jan. 5 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Robert E. Brown, age 40, Mechanicville, was charged Jan. 5 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th - misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana.

Katheryn A. Fasano, age 44, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 4 with criminal contempt first degree- felony.

Joseph P. Russell, age 25, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Jan. 9 to 4 months in jail and 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree. 

Gary S. Jordan, age 54, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Jan. 9 to 10 years of probation, after pleading to possession of a sexual performance by a child. 

William M. Allen, age 24, of Greenfield, was charged with felony assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon - a misdemeanor, following an investigation into a Christmas night shooting, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.  An 18-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the upper arm after a shotgun was accidentally discharged within the residence.  The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening injury at Albany Medical Center and released.
