Safford Economic Plan Flawed

By John Nelson | Letters to the Editor

Letter to the Editor:

As a senior citizen, I am concerned about the social values of John Safford.

He announced in his October 23rd statement “Economic Plan” for Saratoga Springs, “senior housing didn’t make sense in that location”-(downtown). I think his plan is flawed and insensitive to the needs of seniors. He has failed to recognize many seniors do not have automobiles. Proximity to public transportation or walkability is essential.

I wonder if his “Economic Plan” is supported by sound data? If he has his “Plan” available on line, pleas print the site.

Very truly yours,

John Nelson
