GrandVille at Malta Secures $49.5 Million to Expand

MALTA — The 292-unit apartment complex, GrandVille at Malta, located off Route 9, has recently announced plans for expansion. The construction plans include nine new buildings and a clubhouse to be built over a three-year timeframe. The general contractors for the new apartments are Platinum-LeChase Construction Group LLC of Newton, MA, a joint venture involving LeChase Construction in Rochester. This expansion coincides with Global Foundries’ plans to expand their Malta-based computer chip plant in Luther Forest Technology Campus, which could add an estimated 1,000 new jobs to the area. The apartments will come fully furnished, and residents will be able to enjoy amenities like a pool, jacuzzi, outside grilling area and billiard room, among others.
