Kyle Mackrodt, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 7 with criminal contempt.

Christopher Rose, 51, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 7 with criminal possession of a weapon. 

Raymond Scott, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 6 with assault. 

Roland Brathwaite, 33, of Troy, was charged Nov. 6 with resisting arrest, and obstruct governmental administration. 

Morgan McLean, 31, of Mechanicville, was charged Nov. 6 with harassment and resisting arrest. 

Maison Duffy, 19, of Cambridge, was charged Nov. 4 with resisting arrest, criminal possession of stolen property, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Devan Hildebrandt, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 4 with criminal nuisance in the second-degree. 

Debra Caravello, 61, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 3 with DWI, and two driving/vehicle violations.

Penny Richards, 47, of Ballston Spa, was charged Nov. 3 with two counts criminal possession of controlled substance, criminal impersonation, forged possession, criminal possession stolen property, grand larceny, and criminal tampering. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Dept.

Brian C. MacDonald, 32, of Waterford, was charged Nov. 16 with criminal contempt – a misdemeanor, and aggravated family offense – a felony. He is accused of  making contact via telephone while an inmate in Saratoga County Jail with a protected person from a duly served Order of Protection.

Vincent E. Curtis, 23, of Milton, was sentenced Nov. 10 to 2 years’ incarceration, and 1-year post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. 

Arthur J. Martin, 43, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Nov. 10 to 2 years’ incarceration, and 1-year post-release supervisions, after pleading to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Robert Felice, 53, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Nov. 10 to 1-1/3 to 4 years’ incarceration after pleading to felony burglary; first charged July 2021 in Northumberland; 1 to 3 years’ incarceration after pleading to criminal possession of stolen property first charged in Nov 2021 in Moreau, and 1-3 years after pleading to felony grand larceny, first charged June 2022 in Moreau. 

Jonathan P. Raney, 45, of Selma, Alabama, was sentenced Nov. 10 to time served and 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, first charged November 2021 in Saratoga Springs. 

James E. Reinhart, Jr., was sentenced Nov. 10 to 1-year incarceration, after pleading to felony attempted burglary, first charged February 2022 in Halfmoon.

NY State Police

This month, State Police conducted an Underage Drinking Enforcement Detail in Saratoga County. During these investigations, businesses are checked utilizing a Trooper in plainclothes, and one or several underage operatives who cannot lie about their age or provide a false date of birth. During the initiative 16 businesses were checked for compliance. Four people were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First degree, a misdemeanor, after selling alcohol to persons under the age of 21. Larry T. Lindstead, 30, of Malta, was sentenced Nov. 4 to 2 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to felony burglary, and felony attempted burglary, first charged October 2021 in Halfmoon.

Christopher Sears, 36, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Nov. 4 to 1-1/2 years incarceration and 10 years post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted sexual abuse in the first-degree, a felony, first charged July and August 2018 in Milton. 

Michael Vinciguerra, 30, of Malta, pleaded Nov. 7 to felony identity theft. Sentencing Jan. 9. 

Renee L. Passino, 35, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Nov. 7 to 3-1/2 years incarceration, and 3 years post-release supervision, after pleading to criminal possession of a controlled substance, first charged April 2022 in Saratoga Springs. 

Garrett Toften, 42, of Middleburgh, NY, pleaded Nov. 7 to felony assault, first charged February 2022 in Halfmoon. Sentencing Jan. 23. 

Joshua G. Boles, 33, of Ohio, pleaded Nov. 7 to criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, first charged in October in Waterford. Sentencing Jan. 9. 

Eric S. Predential, 31, of Schenectady, pleaded Nov. 7 to felony grand larceny, first charged May 2022 in Waterford. Sentencing Jan. 9.

Jesse Mackenzie, 34, of Corinth, was charged Oct. 31 with petit larceny. 

Edgardo Garcia-Gomez, 28, of Albany, was charged Oct. 30 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Matthew Scott, 40, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 30 with two counts criminal mischief, and criminal tampering, petit larceny. 

Trever Murphy, 42, of Norfolk, Virginia, was charged Oct. 30 with grand larceny in the third-degree. 

Shaineef Cain, 28, of Albany, was charged Oct. 30 with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Trista Nichols, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 30 with two counts criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child. 

Mona Nordstrom, 53, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 30 with criminal mischief.

Randy Jones, 55, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 27 with criminal trespass.

November 12 – November 18, 2022

Saratoga County Court

Glen R. Massoth, 34, of Albany, was sentenced to time served and 5 years probation, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in Saratoga Springs, January 2021. 

Anthony J. Paradise, 44, of Coxsackie, pleaded Nov. 2 to felony arson, related to 2017 charges in the town of Ballston, and in Ballston Spa. Sentencing Jan. 25. 

Troy D. Cassell, Jr., 39, of Schuylerville, was sentenced Nov. 3 to 1-1/3 to 4 years in a state correctional facility after his conviction by a Saratoga County Jury on the charges of DWAI, aggravated DWI with child, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and endangering the welfare of a child. The convictions resulted from an arrest following a September 2021 motor vehicle crash on Route 29 in the town of Saratoga. A six-year-old child who was in the back seat during the time of the crash was treated by EMS and released to relatives. 

Erika T. Brown, 43, of Manhattan, pleaded Nov. 3 to criminal possession of a controlled substance, in Moreau. Sentencing Feb. 9. 

George L. Howard, 43, of Malta, was sentenced Nov. 3 to a 3-year conditional discharge, after pleading to felony DWI. 

James D. Reed, 39, of Schenectady, was sentenced Nov. 3 to 2 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to attempted burglary in the third-degree, a felony, first charged in Wilton March 2021. 

Saratoga Springs Police

Two men were charged with multiple felonies in connection with the suspected theft of two dozen catalytic converters, after Saratoga Springs Police conducted a stop of a suspicious vehicle on Oct. 29. Police said it was discovered that the Virginia license plates on the vehicle did not match the 1991 Chevy van that had been stopped. Officers at that time also observed what appeared to be a catalytic converter on the floor of the van. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that a hotel room and a separate vehicle were also involved, and search warrants were obtained and executed at a local hotel, as well as a on an additional suspect vehicle. Located in the hotel room were an additional 14 stolen catalytic converters, and 5 additional in the vehicle. A total of 24 stolen catalytic converters were recovered during the investigation.

Trever Murphy, 42, of North Carolina was charged with: criminal possession of stolen property, grand larceny, and criminal mischief – all felonies. Murphy is on Federal Probation at this time, according to police. Murphy was remanded to the custody of the Saratoga County Sheriff without bond.

Joshua Michael McIntosh, 41, of Virginia, was charged with: felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar tools - a misdemeanor. McIntosh was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and remanded to the custody of the Saratoga County Sheriff with $250,000 cash bail/ $500,000 bond/ $2.5 Million secured bond. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office

On Nov. 3, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office charged Eric J. Mcintosh, 32, of South Glens Falls, on a warrant for robbery in the first-degree and grand larceny in the third-degree, both felonies. It is alleged that on June 3, 2021, Mcintosh entered the Rite Aid store located at 3027 Route 50 in the town of Wilton, committed an armed robbery with a knife and stole more than $3,000 worth of prescription medication from the pharmacy. He has since been incarcerated with New York State Department of Corrections on another matter. McIntosh was arraigned and processed and turned back over to New York State DOCCS. 

On Nov. 3, Elijah J. Taylor, 21, of Greenfield, was charged with two counts criminal possession of a weapon, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. He was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/ $10,000 bond.

Jonathan E. Volland, 39, of Waterford, pleaded Oct. 27 to criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, and criminal contempt in the first-degree, in connection with separate incidents in Waterford, and Milton. Sentencing Jan. 12.

Andrew L. Lavalley, 39, was sentenced Oct. 28 to 1 to 3 years’ incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny, in Wilton. 

Jason Anhorn, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 6 years’ incarceration and 5 years’ probation after pleading to felony burglary, and 2 to 4 years’ incarceration after pleading to aggravated criminal contempt. The sentences will run concurrently.

Jacob Merchant, 23, of Moreau, pleaded Oct. 28 to failure to register or verify as a sex offender. Sentencing Feb. 3. 

Manuel Olmo, 53, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Oct. 28 to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree, a felony. First charged May 2021 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Feb. 3. 

Jordan M. Sunkes, 30, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Oct. 24 to aggravated family offense, first charged June 2022. Sentencing Jan. 9. 

Robert A. Mancucci, III, 40, of Stillwater, pleaded Oct. 24 to felony grand larceny. Sentencing Jan. 23. 

Margaret B. Camejo, 42, of Folsom, Louisiana, was sentenced Oct. 24 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to aggravated DWI with a child, first charged September 2021 in Saratoga Springs. 

Brandon L. Griffith, 41, of the Bronx, was sentenced Oct. 24 to 2 years’ incarceration and 2 years post-release supervision, after pleading to criminal possession of a controlled substance, first charged January 2021 in Wilton.

Robert P. Maciong, 27, of Colonie, was sentenced Oct. 25 to 1-3 years’ incarceration, after pleading to DWAI, in Malta, to run concurrently with 5 years’ incarceration and 5 years’ probation, regarding a felony burglary charge in Halfmoon.

 Sheriff’s Office 

Jason A. Henderson, 52, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 20 with felony grand larceny, and felony identity theft. Henderson was charged after a lengthy investigation into a fraud complaint that revealed he allegedly made several charges, over a period of 3 years, on an elderly, female complainant’s credit card without her permission, totaling $18,585, according to the county sheriff’s office. 

Rondene J. Brust, 53, one count, and Bryan M. Brust, 32, two counts, were both charged Oct. 18 with promoting prison contraband in the first-degree. According to the county sheriff’s office, on Oct. 11 Rondene Brust was accused of introducing a controlled substance into the Saratoga County Correctional Facility and passing the dangerous contraband to inmate Bryan Brust, during an inmate visit. 

Saratoga Police

Simone Gianfrancesco, 35, of Sherman Oaks, CA, was charged Oct. 18 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe turn or failure to give appropriate signal.

Connor Smith, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 17 with criminal mischief. 

Elena Smith, 23, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 17 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Peter Kelly, 61, of Mehoopany, PA, was charged Oct. 24 as arrest person without warrant – charged in another state. 

Brandy Mclaughlin, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 23 with criminal contempt and assault. 

Christopher Grant, 21, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 22 with DWI, and refusal to take breath test. 

Angel Gopi, 35, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 22 with assault, and criminal mischief.

Sabrina Ladd, 31, of Greenwich, was charged Oct. 21 with DWAI, operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate, aggravated unlicensed operation, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Jamie Brewer, 26, of Porter Corners, was charged Oct. 21 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Damon Beckerman, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 20 with criminal contempt, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Jennica Nash, 25, of Milton, was charged Oct. 20 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Jonathan Trow, 40, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 20 with four counts burglary, two counts petit larceny, and two counts grand larceny related to multiple incidents that allegedly occurred on High Rock Ave., Henry St., Lake Ave., and Thoroughbred Dr. 

Jessica Henderson, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 20 with aggravated unlicensed operation, and vehicle license violation.

James North, 59, of Greenfield Center, was charged Oct. 20 with DWI, and two driving violations.

Crystal M. Bauer, 40, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Oct. 21 to 5 years’ probation, after pleading to DWAI, first charged in Clifton Park September 2019. 

Logan O. Desjadon, 25, of Ballston Lake, was sentenced Oct. 21 to 9 months incarceration, after pleading to failure to register as a sex offender.

Neil J. Desposito, 44, of Menands, pleaded Oct. 19 to felony DWI, in connection with a July 2022 incident in Wilton. Sentencing Jan. 10, 2023.

Edward Richardson, 39, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 15 with petit larceny, and intent to obtain transportation without paying. 

Nicole Cappello, 48, of Albany, was charged Oct. 15 with possession of controlled substance in non-original container, unsafe turn or failure to give appropriate signal, improper right turn at intersection, motor vehicle license violation: no license, and criminal possession of controlled substance.

October 22 – October 28, 2022

Saratoga County Court

Devin Hayes, 25, of Gansevoort, was sentenced Oct. 19 to 1-1/2 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to aggravated family offense in Moreau. 

Leroy F. Buttles, 47, of Gansevoort, pleaded Oct. 19 to felony grand larceny, in connection with charged from November 2020 and February 2021 in Wilton. Sentencing Dec. 8. 

William L. Kelone, 19, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 13 with burglary, and grand larceny – both felonies. Kelone is accused of stealing two dirt bikes from a building he entered unlawfully in the Town of Ballston on Oct. 10

Troy M. Tenace, 33, of Ballston, was convicted by trial jury on Oct. 17 of three counts felony assault and one misdemeanor count criminal obstruction of breathing. According to a statement released by the county District Attorney’s Office, Tenace obstructed the breathing of a person known to him in the town of Ballston on Sept. 24, 2021 and proceeded to assault the victim’s family member who attempted to come to their aid. The second victim suffered multiple serious physical injuries. Sentencing is Dec. 6. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

Robert E. Brown III, 43, of Wildwood, NJ, was charged Oct. 18 with two felony counts burglary. It is alleged that Brown illegally entered a dwelling in April of 2021 and a storage unit belonging to the same victim in June 2021 to commit larceny. Both locations are in the Town of Malta. Brown was being held at the Saratoga County Jail on separate charges from the New York State Police when he was arrested on these complaints. 

Jayden K. Buckmaster, 18, of Galway, was charged Oct. 18 with rape in the first-degree and possessing a sexual performance by a child on the suspicion of a sexual assault against a minor. Buckmaster is alleged to have had sexual intercourse with an 11- year-old child. Both charges are felonies. Buckmaster was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 Cash Bail / $50,000 Bond.

Steven A. Dunn, 34, of Princetown, NY, was charged Oct. 18 with criminal trespass (misdemeanor) and assault (felony). The alleged incident occurred in Halfmoon, and the assault charge is based on the accusation that an off-duty New York State Trooper suffered physical injury when Dunn attempted to flee. Dunn was sent to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bond.

NY State Police

On Oct. 16, State Police charged Jackson K. Amankrah, 25, of Halfmoon, with aggravated DWI, and multiple violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Laws. At about 3:49 a.m., Troopers responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash on I-87 in the town of Colonie. The investigation determined that Amankrah was operating a vehicle southbound on I-87 in the northbound lanes and struck a northbound tractor-trailer head-on. No one was injured in the crash. Amankrah was transported to SP Latham for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC.

On Oct. 15, State Police of Clifton Park charged Corrine M. Bentley, 38, of Halfmoon, with petit larceny and trespass, after Troopers received a complaint that a woman was found going through items inside a parked vehicle at a residence in Halfmoon. The investigation determined Bentley entered the vehicle without permission and took items.

On October 13, 2022, State Police of Wilton charged Jeffrey R. Nadeau, 37, of Hadley, with two counts of DWI and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. On October 13, at about 9:16 a.m., Troopers responded to Wilton Mountain Road in Corinth, for reports of a pickup off the roadway. Nadeau was allegedly located in the vehicle’s driver’s seat, which had struck a utility pole. He was charged with DWI and transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.17% BAC. Nadeau was issued tickets returnable to the Corinth Town Court and released to a sober party. On Oct. 13 at about 4:36 p.m., Troopers responded to Gailor Road in Wilton, for the reports of an SUV partially in the road with the operator slumped behind the wheel. Troopers arrived and located Nadeau asleep in the driver seat of the running vehicle. He was arrested for DWI and transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.13% BAC. Nadeau was issued tickets returnable to the Wilton Town Court and released to a sober party.

October 15 – October 21, 2022

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

At approximately 8:28 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office responded to Harris Road in the Town of Hadley for a report of a serious personal injury motor vehicle accident. A three-wheeled motorcycle operated by Eric A. McFarlane, 48, of Hadley left the roadway and struck a tree. McFarlane was ejected from the motorcycle, and pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Dennis J. Mason, 45, of Hadley, was also ejected. He was flown to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries. The accident is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit. Assistance at the scene was provided by Hadley-Luzerne Fire, Hadley-Luzerne EMS, Corinth Fire and Corinth EMS.

Scott A. Johnson, 45, of Galway, was charged Oct. 16 with two felony counts Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and single misdemeanor counts of menacing, and criminal mischief. Johnson is alleged to have pointed a loaded handgun at a victim during a domestic dispute and was found to be illegally in possession of the handgun and another weapon at the time. He was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 Cash Bail, or $100,000 Bond. 

Saratoga Police Department

Craig Kindel, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 10 with assault and unlawful imprisonment. 

Nicholas Cooper, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 10 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speed not reasonable, and unsafe movement of stopped motor vehicle. 

Thomas Edwards, 34, of Rotterdam, was charged Oct. 9 with criminal possession of a weapon. 

Ali Sheroze, 25, of Latham, was charged Oct. 9 with DWI, refusal to take a breath test, speed not reasonable, and making an illegal signal. 

Danielle Wilson, 39, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 9 with criminal trespass.

John Vance, 33, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct.  7 with assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.

NY State Police

On Oct. 7, State Police of Mayfield charged Brian L. Perrott, 42, of Edinburg, with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and making a threat of mass harm, following a complaint received from a Northville High School administrator about a disturbance at the school. The investigation determined Perrott was at the location for a legitimate purpose. While at the school, Perrott allegedly attempted to intimidate the administrator when he made threats to inflict or cause injury. Due to the nature of the investigation, Investigators requested and were granted a Temporary Emergency Protective Order (TERPO). While executing that court order Perrott was found to possess multiple firearms in his home illegally. 

Saratoga Court

David Krapish, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Oct. 14 to failure to register as a sex offender. Sentencing Dec. 2. 

Michael M. Green, 29, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Oct. 14 to 2 to 6 years incarceration, after pleading to felony burglary, in connection with an incident in Saratoga Springs first charged June 28, 2022. 

Melinda R. Boylan, 24, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Oct. 14 to rape in the third-degree, first charged Oct. 3, 2021 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing is scheduled to take place Oct. 2023.

Jon A. Miles, 64, of Burnt Hills, pleaded Oct. 17 to criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 5.

Saratoga County Court

Jason M. Benson, 41, of Corinth, was sentenced Sept. 30 to 1.5 years incarceration and 1.5 years post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree. 

Beatriz A. Garcia, 42, of Mechanicville, pleaded Sept. 30 to attempted assault in the second-degree. Sentencing Dec. 7.

Frederick J. Paul, Jr., 50, of Troy, pleaded Sept. 30 to felony DWI, first charged in Stillwater. Sentencing Dec. 2. 

Jordan Garafalo, 39, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Sept. 30 to assault in the second-degree, first charged Aug. 14-15, 2021 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Dec. 8. 

NY State Police

On Oct.  4, State Police of Wilton arrested Michelle Wilson, 33, of Greenfield, for criminal mischief in the third-degree, two counts of menacing in the second-degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree and harassment in the second-degree, in connection with a domestic dispute. It is alleged that during a verbal argument, Wilson displayed a knife and an axe, threatened harm and used both weapons to cause damage to the home and belongings inside. 

On Oct. 1, State Police in Wilton arrested Matthew S. Kingsley, 52, of Corinth for aggravated DWI and other vehicle and traffic laws violations, after Troopers responded to the area of Stark Road in Corinth, for reports of a two-car crash. The investigation determined a vehicle was stopped on the shoulder of the roadway and occupied by two people.  Kingsley is suspected of striking the vehicle head-on and leaving the scene.  Kingsley has a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years, according to police. He was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC. No one was injured in the crash.

Charles Pavia, 32, was charged Oct. 3 with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and false personation. 

Caitlyn Mount, 23, of Gansevoort, was charged Oct. 3 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and registration suspended. 

Avery Zulio, 25, of Lake George, was charged Oct. 1 with harassment in the second-degree, and disorderly conduct. 

Daniel Clarke, 62, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 1 with menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. 

John Lavada, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 1 with petit larceny.

Padraic Decker, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 27 with DWI, aggravated DWI, moved from lane unsafely, failed to obey traffic device, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. 

Joshua Salak, 35, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 27 with resisting arrest, obstruct governmental administration, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Theresa Merchant, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 25 with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, unsafe backing of vehicle, and refusal to take a breath test. 

Mico De Los Santos, 30, of Rensselaer, was charged at 3:09 a.m. on Sept. 24 with resisting arrest, criminal obstruction of breathing, and disorderly conduct, on Caroline Street. 

Daniel Valastro, 26, of Liverpool, NY, was charged at 12:07 a.m. Sept. 24 with obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct, on Caroline Street. 

Jacob Laudenslager, 54, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 23 with DWI, aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on the sidewalk. 

Amber Logan, 35, of Argyle, was charged Sept. 23 with aggravated unlicensed operation, and insufficient tail lamps vehicle violation.

Court

Bradley Hill, 24, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Sept. 28 to a 5-year term of probation, after pleading to first degree reckless endangerment, in connection with a July 2021 incident in Moreau. 

Tiffany Santiago, 37, of Clifton Park, pleaded Sept. 28 to criminal possession of a firearm, a felony. Sentencing is scheduled for June 30, 2023.

Todd A. Axton, 59, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Sept. 28 to criminal contempt in the first-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 1. 

Geoffrey Pickering, 32, was sentenced Sept. 23 to 2 to 4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to aggravated family offense, that took place in Milton. 

Raymond C. Horning, Sr., 33, of Gloversville, was sentenced Sept. 29 to 6 months’ incarceration, and a 5-year term of probation, after pleading to criminal mischief and grand larceny – both felonies, in connection with 2020 incidents in Ballston and Charlton. 

Gary Mackenzie, 58, was sentenced Sept. 29 to 6 months’ incarceration and a 5-year term of probation, after pleading to felony criminal contempt in a 2021 incident in Providence. 

Saratoga County 

Sheriff’s Office 

Michael J. Scensny, 32, of Halfmoon, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, and unlawful possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, following an investigation of an alleged domestic incident Sept. 24 in Clifton Park. Scensny is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a prior felony conviction, according to the sheriff’s office. 

State Police

On Sept. 27, State Police arrested Jason M. Storms, 44, of Saratoga Springs on the charges of rape in the second-degree, criminal sexual act in the second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child. During the investigation, investigators identified a victim under the age of 15 who Storms allegedly sexually assaulted years prior in Colonie. Storms was sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, or a $25,000 bond.

On Sept. 25, at about 4:08 a.m. State Police of Clifton Park responded to the report of a two-car rollover crash on I-87 northbound in Halfmoon. The investigation determined an 18-year-old operator was traveling northbound on I-87 when they struck the rear of a vehicle being operated by Anjelica R. Espinoza Flores, 22, of San Antonio, Texas. Both vehicles rolled over multiple times, and both drivers were transported to Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation determined both drivers were impaired at the time of the accident. They were arrested and issued tickets for DWI.  Due to medical needs, they were not processed at the time of arrest. I-87 northbound was shut down for a short period to clear the accident. 

On Sept. 24, State Police of Wilton arrested Stacey L. Dressel, 41, of Corinth, on the charges of burglary in the second-degree, and grand larceny in the third-degree. Troopers received a complaint that a vehicle had been stolen from a residence in Greenfield.  The investigation determined Dressel entered the home without permission, took the keys to a vehicle in the driveway, and allegedly stole the vehicle, which was recovered later that day in the village of Ballston Spa.

On Sept. 23, State Police arrested Eric W. Cerny, 65, of Greenfield, on the charges of reckless endangerment in the second-degree, and an environmental conservation law violation. An investigation determined Cerny discharged multiple rounds from a rifle less than 200 feet from another home without that homeowner’s knowledge or permission. No one was hurt during the incident, and the firearm involved was seized.

On Sept. 21, State Police of Wilton arrested Latrell C. Pinellas, 35, of Moreau, on the charge of grand larceny in the fourth-degree. He is suspected of being responsible for multiple items valued at over $1,400 that were stolen from the Target Distribution Center in Wilton. 

On Sept. 21, State Police of Saratoga arrested Cassandra D. Felice, 31, Greenfield, on the charge of grand larceny in the fourth-degree and Robert J. Felice Jr, 53, of South Glens Falls, on the charge of conspiracy in the fifth-degree. The charges stem from a complaint received from a Malta business that an item valued at over $1,300 had been stolen from the store the previous day. It is alleged C. Felice stole the item from the store with the assistance of her father, R. Felice Jr.

September 24 – September 30, 2022

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

Six people were arrested in connection with drug trafficking charges on Sept. 14 following a joint investigation by Saratoga County and Warren County sheriff’s offices. Those charged: Terry Fauntleroy, 31, of Schenectady, Felix Ortega, 55, of Wilton, Tyanne Carpenter, 31, of Wilton, Jerry Falconio, 57, of Wilton, Melissa Sias, 42, of Wilton, Jonathan Lincoln-Lynch, 32, of Wilton.  The charges totaled 25 in all and included multiple counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one felony count criminal possession of a weapon. 

A 14-year-old boy from the Town of Milton was referred to the county probation department following an alleged threat he made to the Ballston Spa Central School District on Sept. 19. The Sheriff’s Office reports it had received a call from a resident reporting that their juvenile son received a Snap Chat message which contained a threat of a school shooting at the Ballston Spa Central School District. The juvenile had received the Snap Chat message earlier that evening. An investigation was conducted by Sheriff’s Office members, including Investigators and School Resource Officers (SRO’s). It was determined that the person who sent the message did not have the means to carry out the threat and that the threat was not credible, according to the Sheriff’s Office. On Sept. 21, he was referred to the county probation department in relation to the threat: Providing a False Written Statement, Making a Threat of Mass Harm, and Falsely Reporting an Incident.

Rahsaan Fennicks, 26, of Schenectady, pleaded Sept. 15 to criminal contempt in the first-degree, first charged in Wilton.  Sentencing Nov. 18. 

Renee L. Passino, 35, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Dept. 15 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth-degree, first charged in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Nov. 7.

Nicholas Zufeit, 28, of Rochester, was charged Sept. 20 with burglary in the third-degree, and criminal mischief in the third-degree. 

Jacob Graham, 23, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 21 with strangulation in the second-degree.

Zachary Motyl, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 20 with aggravated unlicensed operation, and following too closely. 

Katlyn Wilbur, 32, of Malta, was charged with two counts of petit larceny. 

Brandy McLaughlin, 37, of Malta, was charged Sept. 19 with assault in the third-degree, and petit larceny. 

Michael Bohm, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Russell Duffney, 55, Randy Jones, 55, and Shawn Johnson, 40, all of Saratoga Springs, were each charged Sept. 18 with trespass. 

Aneliz Pagan Cruz, 19, of Puerto Rico, was charged Sept. 18 with criminal mischief.

Michael Morrill, 44, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 17 with criminal contempt/ disobey court.
