Fish Fry Friday

We have expanded our club house and invite you to come see our new addition. You are welcome to eat in or call ahead for take-out, 518-695-3917. Menu for dinners: Fish Fry, Chicken Tenders, Clam Strips, Popcorn Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Scallops and Chowder. Ask about our extras, specials and beverages. Fundraiser Takeout Fish Fry 
Knights of Columbus, 50 Pine Rd., Saratoga Springs | 5 – 7:30 p.m.
Menu: Fried or baked haddock $14; fried clam strips $12 (includes French fries and coleslaw); shrimp salad special (includes French fries and coleslaw), homemade macaroni and cheese $5; New England and Manhattan clam chowder $7 (pint) or $13 (quart); side of French fries $3; dessert $2.  Order by calling 518-584-8547 each week prior to the event on Wednesdays-Fridays from at 1-4 p.m., except for Fridays, which will continue until we run out of food. Pickup starts at 5 p.m. and every 15 minutes thereafter. Pick-up in the building with a mask, or call from the parking lot with a description of your vehicle and your meal will be brought out to you. The event will be held each Friday during Lent through April 2.

5th Annual Soup-er Saturday Drive-thru
South Glens Falls United Methodist Church, 15 Maplewood Pkwy | 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

We will be making corn chowder, tomato soup and vegetable beef soup in our Church kitchen. Customers will get three bowls of soup (one of each) plus bread and dessert. Soups will be packed and delivered to your car. The price will be $8. Pre-orders are recommended. Call 518-793-1152.

Winter Wellness Walks
Camp Saratoga North, Wilton Wildlife Preserve, 80 Scout Rd., Gansevoort | 10 a.m.

Get outdoors biweekly to enjoy the beauty of winter with likeminded people. Wilton Wildlife Preserve’s Winter Wellness Walks cover 1.5 miles of gentle terrain. If needed, snowshoes will be available for rental 30 minutes before the program. If there is no snow, the program will take place without snowshoes. Free Farmland Access Workshops

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County and Saratoga PLAN have collaborated to bring a series of three Farmland Access Workshops. Designed for farmland owners and those looking to purchase farmland or diversify their farming operation. The series will kick off with Farmland Leasing presented by Nicole Tommell, Agricultural Business Management Specialist of Cornell Cooperative Extension. Learn how to craft agricultural leases that work for both landowners and tenants. The workshops are free and open to all. Spring Tour Days

During the Spring Tour Days, prospective families will have an opportunity to meet Lisa Brown, Head of School, as well as other faculty and staff in a safe way. Forest Pests and Their Potential Impact on the Adirondacks

Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day 
Thomas Walks for CP - A virtual walk for Cerebral Palsy. Supporters are asked to join the Thomas Walks for CP Facebook event page, and walk 3.2 miles throughout the month of March, in honor of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day. Anyone who wishes to donate, may do so as well through the event page, with proceeds going to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Walkers are encouraged to wear green, take a selfie or a group picture, and post it on social media using the hashtags #ThomasWalks4CP and #GoGreen4CP. 

Take a Bite Out of History: From Saratoga Chip to Potato Chip
Virtual Zoom Presentation | 7 p.m.

In honor of National Potato Chip Day in March, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation is pleased to welcome potato chip historian, Alan Richer, for a virtual program. Also known as “The Toga Chip Guy,” Alan recently finished two segments for the History Channel’s “The Food That Built America” on Frito-Lay and Pringles which will air in the coming weeks. This program is open to the public for a suggested contribution of $10 and pre-registration is required to attend on Zoom.
