Spring Scavenger Hunt
Wilton Wildlife Preserve and Park, 80 Scout Rd., Wilton | 11 a.m. – Noon
Join us on a guided hike to observe the final days of winter and witness the early signs of spring. Look for new growth that spring brings and signs of animal activity. Registration is required. Defensive Driving Class

There will be a New York State approved Defensive Driving Class. Save 10% on your base auto insurance for the next three years and receive up to 4 points off your driving record according to New York State Department of Motor Vehicle Guidelines. There is a fee of $35 per person. Bring a friend and the fee is $30 each. Portion of the fee goes to the church. Registration is required and can be made by calling Ray Frankowski at 518-286-3788.

Auditions for Robin Hood

Malta Spotlighter’s Theatre Troupe is auditioning children (ages 10+), teens and adults, at the Malta Community Center, One Bayberry Dr, Malta. Especially needed: Teen and adult men! Auditions will be scheduled in small groups and by appointment only. All Covid-19 protocols will be explained when requesting your appointment. Auditions also held on Monday April 12 from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Rehearsals will begin April 19 and run most Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons until performances. Performances are tentatively slated over two weekends, June 12 and 13, and June 19 and 20, subject to Covid-19 limitations at the time. Mary Anne Fantauzzi will teach Ballet Barre & Balance on Mondays from April 12 - May 17. Classical ballet technique designed for all level participants will develop core stabilization, fluidity of movement and balance. Fitness attire and ballet slippers are recommended. Participants will need a sturdy high back chair or barre. The cost is $36 for six classes. Ageless Dancer Series

This six-week session, designed for participants ages 55+, will include a new offering, "Swingin' Ballroom," taught by Johnny Martinez. Martinez's class will teach ballroom and Latin dance moves to the music of swing and salsa. No partner is necessary. Fitness attire, sneakers or soft soled dance shoes are recommended. The class will be held from April 14 to May 19. The cost is $36 for six classes. Presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County. An Intro to Boiling Water, Steam and Pressure Canning: Learn when and how to use these different canning methods.
