SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Springs High School Drama Club will perform “Into the Woods” this weekend – their 1st musical production since 2020.
“Into the Woods” is a mash-up of different Brothers Grimm fairy tales (Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, and more) coming together to help a Baker and the Baker’s Wife undo a magical spell.
“It’s funny, kind of crazy, and a little bit sad,” said Mira DeGregory, who plays the Baker’s Wife.
“Into the Woods,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, will be performed March 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and March 19 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for students and $15 for adults (cash or check payment only).
