SARATOGA SPRINGS — On Wednesday, May 3, Officer Caitlin Freshwater received a 2017 MADD STOP-DWI Recognition Award. Last year, Officer Freshwater arrested 45 individuals for driving while intoxicated.
Each year the Saratoga Springs Police Department arrests hundreds of intoxicated drivers, who cause a great deal of damage, injury and death in the city. DWI enforcement is a priority for the department and Freshwater’s dedication to enforcing the DWI laws of the state are appreciated, said Police Chief Gregory Veitch.
