ALBANY — The Egg has announced that Jon Anderson (Aug. 6) and Sonny Landreth & Cindy Cashdollar (Oct. 2) will be performing as part of its 2022 concert series.

Jon Anderson with The Paul Green Rock Academy - Saturday, Aug. 6, 7:30 p.m.., $55, $45, $35. Anderson is one of the most recognizable voices in progressive rock as the lead vocalist and creative force behind the band YES. he co-composed the group’s biggest hits, including “I’ve Seen All Good People”, “Roundabout”, and “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” and was a major creative influence behind the ground-breaking album Fragile as well as the series of epic, complex pieces such as “Awaken”, “Gates of Delirium” and especially “Close to the Edge” which were central to the band’s success. At The Egg, Anderson will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of Close to the Edge, performing the album in its entirety along with other classics, accompanied by the all-star students of the Paul Green Rock Academy.
