COURT

Antonio Dean, 34, of Hudson Falls, pleaded March 12 to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, in Wilton. Sentencing May 21. 

Raymond M. Barnett, 39, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced March 11 to 1 year in jail for criminal mischief and 15 days for menacing. Sentences to run concurrently. 

Todd A. Weinberg, 56, of Halfmoon, pleaded March 11 to promoting a sexual performance by a child, a felony. Sentencing May 28. 

Ramzi Kori, 19, of Burlington Vermont, was sentenced March 11 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to criminal possession of a firearm, a felony, in Moreau. 

Donald R. Martin, III, was sentenced March 11 to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to sex offender failure to register, a felony. 

David F. Lafaver, 44, of Porters Corners, pleaded March 10 to sexual abuse in the first-degree, a felony, related to an incident that occurred in Corinth. Sentencing scheduled May 14. 

John M. Stenzel, 49, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded March 10 to felony DWI. Sentencing May 14. 

Eileen M. Wesley, 62, of Scotia, was sentenced March 10 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Ballston. 

Peter J. Rupp, 41, of Ballston Spa, pleaded March 9 to criminal contempt in the first-degree, a felony, regarding charges made from July to November 2020, in Milton. 

Keith A. Meader, 49, of Ballston Spa, pleaded March 8 to criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, in Clifton Park. Sentencing May 14.  

POLICE

On March 10, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit charged Bryan E. Gailor, 42, of Ballston Spa, and Jesse R. Coleman, 37, of Ballston Spa, after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking within Saratoga County. Gailor and Coleman are accused of distributing cocaine and crack cocaine throughout the county. A search warrant was executed by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Team with the assistance from the Ballston Spa Police Department. Quantities of crack cocaine and heroin as well as packaging materials and scales were allegedly located in the residence. All charges are felonies: criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree; criminal possession of a controlled substance third-degree; five counts criminal possession of a controlled substance fifth-degree. 

Jennifer L. Youngs, 50, was charged March 10 with rape in the second-degree, and criminal sexual act in the second-degree. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Youngs was charged following a lengthy investigation after it was determined that between September 2015 and April 2016, she is suspected of having sexual intercourse, and other sexual contact with a 14-year-old male in the Town of Milton.   

State Police in Wilton charged James J. Harris of Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 5 with criminal possession of a controlled substance second-degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance third-degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth-degree – all felonies.  State Police stopped Harris for a series of traffic infractions as he traveled on I-87 in the Town of Moreau. Following a consented search of the vehicle, approximately 14 grams of heroin and 176 grams of crack cocaine were allegedly found. Harris was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash, or $25,000 bond. 

Paul Calo, 46, of Ballston Spa, was charged March 5 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

David D’Aiello, 60, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 5 with assault in the third-degree, a misdemeanor. 

Jeffrey Timmons, 53, of Latham, was charged March 5 in Saratoga Springs with the following: misdemeanor DWI, refusal to take a breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, passed red light; unsafe turn or failure to give appropriate signal; motor vehicle license violation: no license; failure to notify DMV of address change, and operating unregistered vehicle. 

Kenneth Hughes, 36, of Buffalo, was charged March 6 in Saratoga Springs with criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. 

Phillip Stanfield, 53, of Albany, was charged March 6 in Saratoga Springs with the following: misdemeanor DWI; misdemeanor aggravated DWI; aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; obstruct governmental administration-second degree; resisting arrest.

Jacklyn Parker, 20, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 6 with petit larceny. 

Jose Madera, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 7 with criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. 

Karah Carpenter, 29, of Gansevoort, was charged March 7 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, criminal use drug paraphernalia, speeding, and moving from lane unsafely. 

COURT

Robert W. Rivers, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced March 8 to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to aggravated family offense, a felony. 

Frank J. Flinton, 33, of Ballston Spa, pleaded March 8 to criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, and disseminating indecent materials to minors in the first-degree, a felony. Sentencing May 14. 

Shannon C. Hufstetler, 41, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced March 3 to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to felony DWI. 

Jerry Gonzalez, 37, of the Bronx, pleaded March 3 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth-degree, a felony, in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing May 14. 

Shannon E. Loveridge, 47, of Stillwater, was sentenced March 3 to five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Clifton Park. 

Jeremy Depasquale, 41, pleaded March 5 to attempted burglary in the third-degree, in connection with an incident in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing May 14. 

Toni L. Harris, 35, of Schenectady, was sentenced March 5 to six months in jail, after pleading to felony grand larceny, in Clifton Park.   

Michelle L. King, 46, of Glens Falls, was sentenced March 4 to 2 to 4 years in state prison, after pleading to felony vehicular assault, in Moreau. 

POLICE

Daniel Marrano, 36, of Ballston Spa, was charged March 4 in Saratoga Springs with stalking in the fourth-degree. 

Thomas Berry, 51, of Ballston Spa, was charged March 4 in Saratoga Springs with petit larceny.

Mark Desio, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 4 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and two driving/ vehicle related infractions. 

Ryan K. Score, 32, of Gansevoort, was charged March 6 with aggravated DWI, AUO in the first-degree – a felony, and speeding, in connection with an alleged incident on Ballard Road in the town of Wilton. 

Carlos J. Gonzales, 33, of Schenectady, was charged March 7 in Clifton Park with felony assault, felony aggravated family offense, criminal obstruction of breathing, forcible touching, resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, and criminal mischief. Gonzalez was charged following an alleged incident that occurred with a woman who was known to him. 

Ronald C. Winters, 41, of Halfmoon, was charged March 6 with felony assault and two counts – one a felony, one a misdemeanor, of criminal mischief. Winters is accused of causing serious physical injury to a woman and preventing the victim from communicating a request for emergency assistance. He is also suspected of damaging property. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, or $5,000 secured bond. 

Shannon L. Green, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with felony burglary, felony forgery, and the misdemeanors: petit larceny, false personation, and forgery in the third-degree. Green is accused of committing petit larceny at the Wilton Walmart after previously having been banned from the store, as well as allegedly impersonating another person at the time of arrest. 

John J. Martino, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 27 with four counts of assault in the second-degree, and one count forcible touching. While incarcerated at Saratoga County Jail that same day, Martino is accused of being involved in a physical altercation with several Department of Corrections staff, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Two Corrections Officers were transported to Malta Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, and a Corrections Department Sergeant and Officer were treated at the correctional facility. Marino is at the facility in lieu of $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond, or $150,000 secured bond.

COURT

Joseph K. Humik, 41, of Cohoes, was sentenced March 1 to 1-1/3 to 4 years in state prison, after pleading to DWAI, a felony, in the town of Milton. 

Frank Markus, 57, of Delmar, pleaded March 1 to grand larceny in the third-degree, a felony, in Moreau. Sentencing scheduled May 12. 

POLICE 

Travis Whipple, 41, of Corinth, was charged March 1 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation, motor vehicle registration suspended, and operating a vehicle without insurance. 

Kurtis Patterson, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with criminal contempt in the second-degree: disobeying a court order. 

Debbie L. Smoke, 20, of Hogansburg, was charged Feb.22 with criminal possession of marijuana in the first-degree, a felony. State Police stopped Smoke for a series of traffic violations as she traveled south on I-87 in Wilton. When the Trooper approached the vehicle to speak with Smoke, they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the inside of the car. A probable cause search revealed that Smoke was in possession of approximately 200 pounds of marijuana, which had been stored in several black garbage bags and a hockey bag.

Kristin Blair, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with criminal mischief. 

Uhura Bennett, 34, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with offering a false instrument for filing – a felony, and welfare fraud – a misdemeanor. 

Donald Hoffman, 49, of Schuylerville, was charged Feb. 28 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation, motor vehicle registration suspended, and speeding.

Kristal Knapp, 39, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with petit larceny. 

Raphael Germain, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with petit larceny. 

Gregory L. Craig, 64, of Schenectady, was charged Feb. 28 with Making a Terroristic Threat, a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred in Wilton.  Craig is suspected of making a 911 call shortly after 4 p.m. on Feb. 28 and stating that he was “going to blow up the Walmart store” in the town of Wilton, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. The store was evacuated, secured, and swept by the Sheriff’s Office K9 units. Prior to the threat, police said that Craig had been removed from the Walmart store for an unrelated incident. He was located a short time later on a public bus in Ballston Spa, attempting to return to Schenectady. Craig was taken into custody without incident and arraigned by Judge J. Waldron of the Stillwater Town Court. He was sent without bail to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility and is scheduled to appear in the Wilton Town Court next week.

Leonardo A. Odonnell, 22, of Greenfield, was charged Feb. 26 with menacing in the second-degree, a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree, a misdemeanor, and reckless endangerment in the first-degree, a felony. Odonnell was allegedly walking near the mailboxes of the Brookview Mobile Home Park in Greenfield, holding what appeared to be a silver handgun, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.  Odonnell is suspected of having pointed the handgun at deputies, and initially refused verbal commands to drop the gun. Police said he eventually complied with the officer’s commands and dropped the handgun, which was determined to be a realistic pellet gun, and was taken into custody without incident.

Timothy D. Faboskay, 32, of Middle Grove, was charged Feb. 26 with grand larceny in the fourth-degree, a felony. Faboskay is accused of stealing property in the town of Ballston consisting of a Catalytic Converter worth more than $1,000.

Seth Swires, 25, of Glens Falls, was charged Feb. 23 in Saratoga Springs with felony burglary, criminal contempt, and stalking. 

Kevin Kelly, 40, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 25 with criminal trespass, and criminal mischief. 

Sharon Griffen, 55, of Greenfield Center, was charged Feb. 26 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop at a stop sign, and moving from lane unsafely. 

 Corey Bishop, 49, of South Glens Falls, was charged Feb. 26 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. 

COURT 

Brandin M. Marble, 30, of South Glens Falls, pleaded Feb. 17 to felony attempted burglary, in Saratoga. Sentencing March 31.

Tyler S. Moon, 42, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in state prison, after pleading to felony grand larceny, in Saratoga Springs. 

Justin W. Rodgers-Davis, 37, of Fort Edward, pleaded Feb. 17 to felony DWI, in Moreau. Sentencing April 19. 

Melissa R. LaPoint, 42, of Moreau, was sentenced Feb. 16 to 1 year in jail, after pleading to two counts felony DWI, two counts felony aggravated DWI, and endangering the life of a child, a misdemeanor, in Wilton. 

Tricia M. Kilduff, 41, of Glens Falls, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to aggravated DWI with a child less than 16 years of age, in Moreau.

Brian Raymond, 50, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 19 with criminal mischief in the third-degree, a felony. 

Sharu Venable, 49, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 20 with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, aggravated DWI, refusal to take a breath test, act in manner injure child, and following too closely. 

John Petalas, 24, of Rensselaer, was charged Feb. 21 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, and a motor vehicle license violation: no license. 

Victor Pardo, 59, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 21 with misdemeanor DWI, and failure to keep right. 

Dameon Myrick, 38, of Saratoga, was charged Feb. 21 in Saratoga springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and speeding. 

Ryan Monaco, 29, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 19 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle without stop lamps. 

Matthew O’Donnell, 30, of Gloversville, was charged Feb. 16 in Saratoga Springs with petit larceny, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both charges are misdemeanors. 

Samantha O’Donnell, 32, of Greenfield, was charged Feb. 16 in Saratoga Springs with petit larceny, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both charges are misdemeanors. 

Michael Goodwin, 34, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 18 with unlawful imprisonment, a misdemeanor. 

Bridget Stockwell, 37, of Charlton, was charged Feb. 17 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, circumvent interlock, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Robert Hedrick, 29, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 17 in Saratoga Springs with resisting arrest, obstruct governmental administration, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal contempt, tampering with physical evidence, and aggravated family offense. 

Marcus Raffuel, 53, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 18 with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, and moving from lane unsafely. 

State Police are investigating a vehicle pursuit that led to two state police patrol cars being damaged in Clifton Park. At approximately 11 p.m. on Feb. 18, State Police personnel were monitoring a vehicle pursuit involving a suspect in a burglary with a weapon in the city of Schenectady. As the suspect crossed into the town of Clifton Park, Troopers joined the vehicle pursuit. A preliminary investigation determined as the suspect vehicle traveled eastbound on State Route 146, he crossed into the center median, ramming the passenger side of a waiting troop car. The trooper car was positioned in the center median with its emergency lights activated to warn any approaching traffic. The suspect’s vehicle allegedly then intentionally rammed the driver side of the trooper car, pushing it into a snowbank. When a second unit arrived on scene, the suspect is believed to have intentionally struck the front of that patrol car, before reversing and becoming stuck in a snowbank. Neither Trooper was injured. The driver of the vehicle is identified as 29-year-old Shaquille Jahmere Daniels of Troy. Daniels was taken into custody without further resistance and turned over to the Schenectady Police Department. A loaded handgun was recovered from the vehicle.

COURT 

Ralph Knapp, 68, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Feb. 10 to 60 days in jail, after pleading to failure to register as a sex offender, a felony. 

Emily S. Baxter, 34, of Slingerlands, was sentenced Feb. 9 to five years of probation, after pleading in Saratoga Springs to fourth degree felony grand larceny. 

Paul Pike, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Feb. 8 to 3 to 6 years in state prison, following the conviction of vehicular assault in the first-degree, according to a statement released by Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. An investigation by Saratoga Springs Police determined that Pike crashed his car into a telephone pole just south of Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Route 50, after traveling more than 100 feet on the shoulder of the roadway. A 7-year-old passenger in the back seat of the vehicle suffered serious physical injuries, including a skull fracture, a severe brain bleed, and a laceration to his face, according to the statement.  Heggen said Pike had failed multiple field sobriety tests at the scene of the crash – which occurred June 10, 2020 - and that it was determined he was impaired by a variety of drugs, suboxone, klonopin, and Vyvanse among them.    

Joshua L. Briggs, of Warrensburg, was charged Feb. 9 with grand larceny in the fourth-degree in connection with a series of retail larcenies in February at the Target Store in the town of Wilton. Briggs is accused of stealing electronics valued at $1,551.43.

Robert Salisbury, Jr., 32, of Schenectady, pleaded Feb. 11 to felony DWI, in Ballston. Sentencing April 15. 

Ronnie L. Gardner, 28, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Feb. 11 to grand larceny in the third-degree, a felony, in Wilton. Sentencing April 12. 

Leslie F. Allen, Jr., 39, of Corinth, was sentenced Feb. 11 to 1.3-4 years state prison, after pleading to failure to register as a sex offender, a felony, and 3 to 6 years state prison for felony grand larceny, that was originally charged in the town of Greenfield between Feb. 3 and June 11, 2020. 

POLICE

Matthew Salvo, 41, of Greenfield, was charged Feb. 12 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. 

Christopher Hance, 31, of Middle Grove, was charged Feb. 13 in Saratoga Springs with unauthorized use of a vehicle in the third-degree, a misdemeanor.

Kenneth Drobner, 27, of Albany, was charged Feb. 13 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle registration suspended – both misdemeanors. 

Nile Steigerwald, 58, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 13 with misdemeanor DWIO, and unsafe backing of vehicle. 

James J. Willsey, 31, of Malta was charged Feb. 6 with felony DWI- Previous Conviction, and circumventing an interlock device, a misdemeanor. State Police stopped Willsey for an alleged series of traffic infractions as he drove down State Route 9 in Malta. According to state police, when the Trooper spoke with Willsey they could smell the odor of alcohol and observed signs of impairment. Willsey was administered the standardized field sobriety test which were indicative of impairment and he was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. Willsey was transported to SP Saratoga where he refused to submit to a test to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court.

Jason Benson, 39, of Corinth, was charged Feb. 11 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation- a misdemeanor, unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, and exhaust system equipment violation. 

James Altamirano, 39, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 11 in Saratoga Springs with criminal trespass in the third-degree, a misdemeanor. 

Donald Clute, 57, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 12 with criminal possession of a firearm, a felony. 

Jonathan D. Cain, 25, of the Bronx, was charged Feb. 14 with felony robbery, felony grand larceny, and misdemeanor attempted assault. Cain is accused of using physical assault to steal a person’s mobile phone and attempting to cause physical injury to that person during an alleged incident that occurred in the town of Wilton, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

COURT

Javier A. Dalmasi, 26, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Feb. 2 to six months incarceration and five years of probation, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree, a felony in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 21, 2019. 

Barkim H. Tomer, 26, of Schenectady, was sentenced Feb. 3 to 3.5 years in state priosn, after pleading in Saratoga Springs to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. 

POLICE 

Wayne A. Rice, 43, of Schenectady, was charged with two felony counts of reckless endangerment in the first-degree, in the town of Saratoga. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Rice is accused of “recklessly engaging in conduct that created a grave risk of death to another person under circumstances evincing a depraved indifference to human life.” He is suspected of nearly striking two deputies with his car in efforts to fell the scene of what was believed to be a domestic incident. As a deputy attempted to take Rice in to custody, he drove off while the deputy was partially inside the vehicle, according to authorities. Rice was sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.    

State Police in Troop G, which serves a 10-county area that includes Saratoga, removed 17 impaired drivers from local roadways during Super Bowl weekend. The special STOP-DWI enforcement campaign ran from Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 through Monday, Feb. 8. During the campaign, troopers in Troop G issued 690 traffic tickets including 147 for speeding, 21 for distracted driving, 14 for failure to move over, and 17 for not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers also responded to 60 traffic collisions.

Keegan Farrell, 20, of Greenfield Center, was charged in Saratoga Springs Feb. 5 with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth-degree, a felony. 

Omar Stout, 26, of Albany, was charged in Saratoga Springs Feb. 6 with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Lucy Johnson, 36, of Greenfield Center, was charged in Saratoga Springs Feb. 6 with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree. 

Kevin Lindsay, 32, of Greenfield Center, was charged in Saratoga Springs Feb. 7 with felony DWI as a second offense within 10 years, vehicle not equipped with interlock device, three driving related violations and one vehicle related violation. 

 Michael J. McLaughlin, 29, of West Enfield, Maine, was charged Feb. 5 with five felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, on Feb. 4 deputies responded to the La Quinta Inn and Suites on Route 9 in the Town of Clifton Park for reports of a subject walking around the hotel with a firearm.  The subject in question, identified as Michael J. McLaughlin, was located in the hotel and allegedly found to be in possession of several weapons at the time. He was charged and arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail, $40,000 secured bond, or $80,000 partially secured bond.

Maria Hernandez, 20, of Moreau, was charged Feb. 1 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, and two driving related violations. 

Katelynn Hulett, 29, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 1 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor petit larceny. 

Jennifer Parsons, 40, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 1 with misdemeanor criminal mischief. 

Tammy McCray, 42, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 2 in Saratoga Springs with grand larceny in the fourth-degree, a felony. 

Jonathan Hendrix, 29, of Halfmoon, was charged Feb. 4 in Saratoga Springs with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and two vehicle related violations. 

Ashley Fear, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 4 with assault in the third-degree, a misdemeanor. 

Bibi Zulfekar, 33, of Schenectady, was charged Feb. 5 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor criminal mischief.

COURT 

Chad M. Cruger, Jr., 21, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Jan. 26 to felony burglary, and criminal mischief. Sentencing March 23. 

Shawn L. Whitman, 43, of Mechanicville, was sentenced Jan. 26 to two years in state prison, after pleading to felony rape. The initial charge dates to May 7, 2020 in Saratoga Springs. 

Dennis C. Woods, 55, of Corinth, was sentenced Jan. 27 to five years of probation, after pleading in Wilton to felony DWI. 

William D. Bell, 33, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Jan. 28 to three years in state prison, after pleading in Milton to assault in the second-degree. 

Kelsey A. Irving, 29, of Queensbury, pleaded Jan. 29 to felony DWI in Malta. Sentencing April 16. 

Dennis J. Lescault, II, of Lake Luzerne pleaded Jan. 29 to DWAI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest in Malta, and attempted assault in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing April 16. 

POLICE 

Swade Shattuck, 43, of Mechanicville, was charged Feb. 1 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, having a suspended registration – a misdemeanor, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle – a felony, and no seat belt. 

Abigail Danna, 18, of Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 30 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance in non-original container, and a vehicle equipment violation. 

Jeremy Depasquale, 41, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 31 with harassment in the second-degree. 

Kenneth Hughes, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 25 with misdemeanor criminal trespass. 

Aaron Edwards, 39, of Corinth, was charged Jan. 25 in Saratoga Springs with felony DWI, refusal to take breath test, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and two driving violations. 

Martin Brook, 41, of Taberg, was charged Jan. 26 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a weapon/ intent to use, criminal mischief, and felony assault. 

Thomas Jackson, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 27 with obstruct governmental administration, a misdemeanor. 

Todd Plummer, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 28 in Saratoga Springs with felony grand larceny, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle – a misdemeanor. 

Kenneth Hughes, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged an. 27 with misdemeanor criminal trespass. 

Zachary Houston, 26, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 28 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate. 

Loren M. Hull, 21, of Halfmoon, was charged Feb. 2 with robbery in the second-degree, a felony. Hull is accused of displaying a handgun and forcibly stealing a laptop computer from a man known to him while purporting to purchase the computer, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.  The alleged incident occurred on Woodlawn Avenue in the town of Halfmoon, and authorities say the handgun used was later determined to be a BB gun.  Hull was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash, or $2,000 bond. 

Joshua E. Greco, 30, of Gloversville, was charged Jan. 29 with grand larceny in the fourth-degree, a felony, in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in the town of Ballston on Oct. 10.  Greco is accused of stealing property worth more than $1000. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office,  the investigation is continuing, and more arrests are expected. 

Darren A. Moore, 35, of Clifton Park, was charged with rape in the first-degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth-degree. It is alleged that Moore caused damage to property in connection with a domestic incident and then forced sexual intercourse on the victim using forcible compulsion.  The incident occurred on Jan. 24. Moore was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 secured bond, and $50,000 partially secured bond. A Temporary Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim. 

Jimmy L. Smith, 44, of Corinth, was charged Feb. 1 with felony criminal mischief and harassment – a violation, after allegedly shoving a person and causing damage in excess of $250 to a television by punching it.

COURT

Bradley J. Vandusen, 56, pleaded Jan. 25 to attempted arson in the second-degree in Saratoga Springs, a felony. Sentencing March 22.

Frank L. Lewis, 29, of Stillwater, was sentenced Jan. 25 to five years of probation, after pleading to DWAI in Saratoga. 

Alexandria E. Cruz, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y., pleaded Jan. 25 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree in Wilton, a felony. Sentencing March 22. 

James I. Price, 43, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Jan. 22 to five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI.

Adoniram Huntington, IV, 41, pleaded Jan. 22 to felony burglary in Moreau. Sentencing March 26. 

Keegan A. Farrell, 20, of Greenfield Center, pleaded Jan. 22 to criminal possession of stolen property, and felony burglary in Moreau. Sentencing March 26. 

POLICE

Jack L. Jeffers, 25, was charged with manslaughter in the second-degree, following a lengthy investigation into the disappearance of Michael P. Ahern in the town of Stillwater, according to a statement from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. A missing person complaint involving Ahern was first filed with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 15, 2019. Ahern was 42 years old at that time. Jeffers is accused of shooting and killing Ahern on Jan. 6, 2019 during a personal dispute. Ahern was living at a building formerly used as a clubhouse for the now defunct Rolling Pride Motorcycle Club on Brickyard Road in the Town of Stillwater, where the alleged incident occurred, according to the Sheriff’s Office.  Jeffers was previously charged in 2019 with other offenses related to this investigation, including grand larceny, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of a weapon.  It is alleged that in the months following the killing of Ahern, Jeffers disposed of evidence of the crime, stole a truck belonging to Ahern and was found to be in possession of illegally possessed firearms. Jeffers was arraigned on the charge of manslaughter in the second-degree before Milton Town Justice Timothy Brown and was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, $50,000 secured bail bond, or $100,000 partially secured bail bond.   

Seth Swires, 25, of Glens Falls, was charged Jan. 23 in Saratoga Springs with computer trespass: gains access to computer material- felony; stalking: cause material harm to mental or emotional health- misdemeanor.

Ian Quilinian, 24, of Lake George, was charged Jan. 24 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, unsafe turn or failure to give appropriate signal arrested following a traffic stop drinking alcohol in motor vehicle on highway. 

Columbus McCall, 28, of Beacon, was charged Jan. 24 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first-degree, a felony. 

Kurtis Patterson, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 25 with speed not reasonable and prudent; operate a motor vehicle with unsafe tires; motor vehicle license violation: no license; obstruct governmental administration-a misdemeanor. 

COURT

Richard Carr, III, 29, of Galway, was sentenced Jan. 14 to time served and five years of probation, after pleading to endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person in the first-degree, a felony. 

Joseph T. Sims, 52, of Middle Grove, was sentenced Jan. 14 to time served and five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Saratoga Springs. 

Rakim L. Johnson, 29, of Lake George, was sentenced Jan. 15 to four years in state prison, after pleading to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth-degree, a felony, in Saratoga Springs. 

Dung T. Nguyen, 51, of Plattsburgh, was sentenced Jan. 15 to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to vehicular assault in the second-degree, a felony, in Moreau.

Justin Pierre, 20, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 16 with criminal mischief, and petit larceny – both misdemeanors. 

Ashley Green, 26, of Gansevoort, was charged Jan. 16 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and crossing road hazard markings , after being involved in a property damage accident. 

Thomas Jackson, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 18 with operating motor vehicle impaired by drugs, aggravated DWI – with a child passenger, a felony, unreasonable speed, unsafe tires, acting in a manner injure child less than 17. 

Randy Jones, 53, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 4 with harassment, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Nicholas Scott, 25, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 5 with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. 

Gary Mason, 68, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 5 with harassment, resisting arrest, and trespassing. 

Benjamin Purner, 27, of Queensbury, was charged Jan. 5 in Saratoga Springs with operating motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, reckless driving, unlawful possession of marijuana, and three driving-related violations. 

Philip Fitzpatrick, 51, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 6 with misdemeanor petit larceny. 

Jeremy Depasquale, 41, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 7 with harassment in the second-degree, and criminal trespass. 

Kayla Szekely, 23, of Schuylerville, was charged Jan. 9 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Daniel Grignon, 39, of Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 9 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and two vehicle violations. 

Randy Jones, 53, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 9 with harassment in the second-degree, and trespassing. 

John Reome, 60, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 10 with felony DWI, circumventing an interlock system, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, moving from lane unsafely, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, without inspection certificate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. 

Jonah Figueras, 25, of Wilton, was charged Jan. 11 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and crossing road hazard markings. 

Hunter Herzog, 20, of Albany, was charged Jan. 12 with misdemeanor DWI, operating motor vehicle after consuming alcohol at the age of less than 21, and failure to obey traffic device. 

Stacia Sheehan, 50, of Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 13 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, refusal to take breath test, drinking alcohol in motor vehicle on highway, and unsafe backing of vehicle. 

Tashierra Montgomery, 29, of Baltimore, was charged Jan. 13 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. 

Mona Nordstrom, 52, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 14 with assault in the third-degree. 

Alexander Luse, 26, of Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 15 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, having an expired registration, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

COURT 

Todd A. Buchas, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, after pleading to rape in the first-degree, a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred in Saratoga Springs. The date of the original charge was April 10, 2020. 

Brittany A. Matthey, 35, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Jan. 12 to felony DWI, in connection with an alleged incident in Wilton. Sentencing March 16. 

D’Jontay Bennifield, 21, of Greenfield Center, pleaded Jan. 12 to two felony charges: criminal contempt in the first-degree, and aggravated family offense. Sentencing Jan. 12. 

Alexander P. Jones, 33, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Jan. 6 to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth-degree, a felony, in Malta. 

Abigayle M. DePalo, 27, of Hudson Falls, was sentenced Jan. 8 to 1 to 3 years in state prison after pleading to felony robbery, in Clifton Park. 

Terrence M. Patterson, 62, of Fairfax, Vermont, was sentenced Jan. 8 to five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Moreau. 

POLICE

Tony J. Prichard, 32, of Ballston Spa, was charged Dec. 29 with promoting prison contraband in the first- degree, a felony. Prichard is suspected of possessing a quantity of suboxone, a controlled substance, while incarcerated at the Saratoga County Correctional Facility. 

Kim Baylis, 55, of Ballston Spa, and Jessika L. Baylis, 32, of Providence, were each charged with felony burglary, petit larceny, and endangering the welfare of a child, in connection with an alleged incident at the Wilton Walmart on Jan. 1. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department, both parties, who are mother-and-daughter, are suspected of stealing merchandise from the store, after being formally advised on a separate occasion that they were not allowed to be on premises. 

Samantha M. Hawk, 23, of Cohoes was charged with felony criminal mischief, and the misdemeanors menacing and assault, and Stephen J. McCarey, 28, of Ballston Spa, with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault, in connection with an alleged incident in Milton on Jan. 4. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department, both parties were arrested making serious allegations against each other during a suspected domestic incident on Jan. 4 involving a knife, in the town of Milton. 

Leroy L. Ramsey, 50, of Gansevoort, was charged Jan. 5 with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second-degree, a felony, and criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred in the Town of Corinth between July 2020 and December 2020.  Ramsey is accused of being in possession of numerous stolen NYS Vehicle Inspection stickers. The felony charge stems from one of the stickers being forged.  The investigation is continuing, and more arrests are expected. 

Travis C. Maderic, 31, of Schenectady, was charged Jan. 7 with felony robbery, after an investigation into a report of a robbery in the parking lot of the Walmart in the Town of Halfmoon. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Maderic is accused of displaying what appeared to be a weapon and forcibly stealing $530 from a male victim after purporting to sell him sneakers. Maderic then allegedly fled the scene, and was apprehended in the city of Schenectady a short time later.  He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash and
$2,000 bond.
