Devizzio Hosts Baseball, Basketball Camps

BALLSTON SPA — Tony Devizzio will be hosting a baseball skills clinic for boys ages 7–13, from 2–4 p.m. Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19 at The Milton Recreation Field. Level One (younger age players) is 2-4 p.m., while Level Two (older players, majors and 50–70, travel) will go from 4–6 p.m. Skills covered will include hitting to all fields, pitching with both power and finesse, footwork and baserunning technique.

The fee is $50 and you can register the evening of the clinic if there are still spots available.

The Summer Break Triple Threat Basketball Camp at St. Mary’s Gymnasium in Ballston Spa will be held Monday, July 22 through the following Friday. Divisions for both boys and girls will go from 8:30–11:30 a.m. each day and will feature skill drills for shooting competitions, dribbling and passing. There will also be one-on-one, two-on-two and three-on-three practice games. All contests and tournament games will be on Championship Friday, followed by an awards ceremony. Syracuse basketball shirts given to the camp by Syracuse University head coach Jim Boeheim will be issued out to the first 40 campers. A permission form is due before the first day along with a $70 fee on a first come, first serve basis.
