COURT

Austin I. Klebauskus, 25, of Malta, pleaded June 30 to felony DWI. Sentencing Aug. 25. 

Raven J. Stables, 19, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded to criminal sale of a controlled substance. Sentencing Aug. 25. 

Shari L Stephens, 37, of Malta, was charged June 27 with promoting prison contraband in the first-degree, a felony. Stephens is accused of sending mail to an inmate of the Saratoga County Jail that contained dangerous contraband, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. 

POLICE

On July 6, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office arrested the following person on the below listed charges: NYS PL 130.65(4) –Crim. Crim S. Trerise, 56, of Middle Grove, was charged with three felony counts sexual abuse in the first-degree, and one misdemeanor count sexual abuse in the second-degree, following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Trerise is accused of having had sexual contact with 4 different minors from 2015-2017. At the time, 3 of the victims were under the age of 13 and one under the age of 14, all while the defendant was over the age of 21. The allegations occurred in the Town of Greenfield and the victims were known to the defendant. Trerise was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, $50,000 surety bond, or $250,000 unsecured bond. He is due back in court in August. Orders of Protection were issued on behalf of the victims

Meghan Reyome, 20, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 27 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having an inadequate plate lamp. 

Jonathan Elston, 33, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 26 with aggravated unlicensed operation, following too closely, and motor vehicle registration suspended. 

Zachary Crowley, 25, of Schaghticoke, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 25 with DWI, aggravated DWI, and speed not prudent. 

Ismael Cortez, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 25 with DWI. 

Ethan Jordan, 27, of Troy, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 24 with obstruct governmental administration. 

Patrick Vezeau, 57, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 23 with criminal contempt. 

Michael Scoville, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 22 with criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child. 

Daniel Marrano, 37, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 22 with criminal contempt. 

Mitchum White, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 22 with aggravated unlicensed operation, registration suspended, criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle without insurance, and three vehicle equipment violations. 

Christopher Rose, 32, of Fort Edward, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 21 with criminal contempt, and aggravated family offense. 

Daniel Nowak, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 19 with unlawful imprisonment, and criminal mischief. 

Anthony Luizzi, 22, of Albany, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 19 with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Eric Jones, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 18 with petit larceny. 

Richard Baker, 68, of Mechanicville, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 18 with petit larceny. 

Jessica Bayonet, 40, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 17 with criminal possession of stolen property. 

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit announced June 30 they had arrested Tracy P. Whipple, Corey A. Saxton and Jamie R. Brewer, following a surveillance operation in the Town of Wilton. Mrs. Whipple is accused of possessing a quantity of methamphetamine with the intent to sell. Mr. Brewer is accused of possessing a quantity of crack cocaine. Mr. Saxton, active parolee, failed to obey a lawful order from members of the Narcotics Unit, then subsequently led arresting members on a foot pursuit and shortly thereafter was taken into custody, according to the press release.  An Investigator was injured while taking Saxton into custody and was later treated for minor injuries. Charges for Whipple: One felony count and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Charges for Brewer: One misdemeanor count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Charges for Saxton: One count of Obstructing governmental administration, One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, One count of Resisting Arrest  - all misdemeanors, and One count of Assault in the 2nd Degree - with Intent Cause Injury to Officer, a felony.

COURT 

Travis R. Austin, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced June 24 to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree. 

John Fink, 38, of Troy, was sentenced June 24 to 1 year incarceration on the felony charge criminal contempt, and 2-1/3 to 7 years incarceration on the charge of felony burglary, in connection with incidents first charged in Mechanicville. Sentences to run consecutively. 

Craig R. Derusso, of Clifton Park, pleaded June 23 to criminal possession of stolen property. Sentencing Aug. 18. 

Tyler A. Podrazik, 28, of Amsterdam, was sentenced to 364 days incarceration, after pleading to aggravated DWI with a child. 

POLICE

Angel Isaac, 46, of South Glens Falls, was charged June 30 with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second-degree, a felony. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Isaac is accused of providing a forged COVID-19 vaccination card to the South Glens Falls School System and is set to appear in the Moreau Town Court at a later, unspecified date. Legislation went into effect last December criminalizing fake Covid-19 vaccination cards in New York State. The law made the falsification of cards a misdemeanor and created a new felony of “computer tampering in the third degree for intentional entering, alteration or destruction of ‘computer material’ regarding COVID-19 vaccine provisions.”

Michael C. Green, age 18, Saratoga Springs, Christopher C. Rothaupt, age 20, Saratoga Springs, Evan A. Jenkins, age 18, Gansevoort, and Eric T. Murray, age 27, Saratoga Springs were each charged with: felony burglary, felony robbery, felony conspiracy, and the misdemeanors: petit larceny endangering the welfare of a child, and menacing, in connection with an alleged incident at a Division Street residence on June 28. According to Saratoga Springs Police, a call to 911 from the 28-year-old male victim came in around 12:30 a.m. He reported that he had gone outside his home to speak with a male acquaintance who had called the victim a short time earlier. Once outside the victim discovered three additional men with his acquaintance. All five then went into the victim’s home, where the four listed above proceeded to steal property from the home of the victim.  During the incident, one of the four men displayed what appeared to be a pistol and threatened to shoot the victim. As the event unfolded, the victim’s 6-year-old son, who had been asleep in a bedroom, woke up and witnessed the event. The four then left the residence by vehicle and the victim called 911. Officers on patrol were able to locate the suspect vehicle shortly after the call and took all four into custody without incident. The weapon involved was found to be an imitation pistol that appeared very similar to a Glock handgun. No injuries were reported. The four men were arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash, or $50,000 bond.

Dimiery Ortiz-Lopez, 20, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 17 with assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. 

Allegra Christidis, 45, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 17 with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident, moving from lane unsafely, and speed not prudent. 

Raymond Conniff, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 17 with aggravated harassment. 

Theodore Cooper, 49, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 16 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Adrian Velez, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 16 with DWI, aggravated DWI, speed not reasonable. 

Jahsir Steele-Robir, 24, of Schenectady, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 16 with aggravated unlicensed operation, registration suspended, operating without insurance, and vehicle equipment violation. 

Shannon Drake, 43, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 16 with assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Jacob Hudson, 19, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 15 with menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Kevin Cavanagh, 55, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 15 with criminal contempt, and criminal trespass. 

Nicole O’Brien, 25, of Gansevoort, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 14 with DWI, aggravated DWI, and unsafe backing of vehicle. 

Patrick Vezeau, 57, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 13 with criminal contempt.

Devan Hildebrandt, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 11 with harassment, resisting arrest, obstruct governmental administration, and trespassing. 

Keir Nelson, 32, of Malta, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 12 with two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count disorderly conduct. 

Elizabeth Reinhold, 29, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 11 with harassment. 

Dillon Poirer, 21, of Porter Corners, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 11 with criminal mischief, and criminal trespass.

Hike Bagramian, 52, of Clifton Park, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 11 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and use of vehicle not equipped with interlock. 

Christopher Millington, 38, of Gansevoort, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 8 with harassment, aggravated family offense, and criminal contempt. 

Tyler Nash, 26, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 8 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Anthony Gordon, 28, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 8 with menacing. 

Renee Passino, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 7 with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Peter Barry, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 6 with grand larceny in the third-degree/ property value exceeds $3,000. 

On June 22, members of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Thomas A. Allen after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking within Saratoga County. Allen is accused of selling and possessing quantities of crack cocaine throughout Saratoga County. A search warrant was executed by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Team in the Town of Corinth. Three suspects were located within the residence: Thomas A. Allen, Kayla J. Allen and Erica B. Shippee. Thomas and Kayla Allen had active warrants and Ms. Shippee is currently on parole. As a result of the investigation, scales, packaging material and quantities of crack cocaine were seized, according to the sheriff’s office.  Tom and Kayla Allen were arraigned, and bail was set in the amount of $10,000 cash, $20,000.00 bond and $100,000.00 partially secured bond. Both were sent to the Saratoga County Jail for lack of bail, pending further action on the matter. Shippee was given an appearance ticket due to appear in the Town of Corinth Court at a later date.

June 18 – June 24, 2022

POLICE

Anthony J. Paradise Jr., 44, was charged June 9 with arson, burglary, criminal tampering, and criminal mischief – all felonies – in connection with an incident that occurred in the Town of Ballston on Nov. 27, 2017. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Paradise is accused of spending several hours on the Curtis Lumber property on State Route 67 in the Town of Ballston after the business was closed, and allegedly sabotaged electrical and gas systems in several buildings, damaged buildings, and computer systems, tampered with the 911 system on the Verizon Wireless tower, and set fire a storage building full of sub-flooring causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. Following his arraignment on charges, Paradise was returned to the Greene County Jail where he is being held awaiting trial for a murder charge. “This case shows that my deputies and investigators are relentless in their pursuit to hold criminals accountable. This case involved hundreds of man-hours by the investigators assigned. I’m proud to announce this arrest today,” Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo said in a statement regarding the local charges. 

Dimeiry M. Ortiz-Lopez was charged with felony assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, in connection with an incident that occurred on Caroline Street during the afternoon hours on Friday, June 17.  Saratoga Springs Police say a 51-year-old man was stabbed in the neck following what appears to be a road rage incident. An argument was allegedly initiated between the man and a 20-year-old Ballston Spa woman that began in the Division Street area, and escalated as the two vehicles reached Caroline Street. The man, who was driving a box/delivery type truck, suffered a slash of about three inches in length and went to Saratoga Hospital. He has since been discharged from the hospital, according to police. Ortiz-Lopez was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond. 

Lorenzo J. Parker, 26, of Schenectady, was charged June 8 with two felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one felony count criminal sale of a controlled substance. Parker is accused of selling and possessing quantities of cocaine.

Jeannette M. Tyndell, 51, of South Glens Falls, was charged May 23 with felony count and one misdemeanor count criminal possession of a controlled substance, one felony count criminal sale of a controlled substance, and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second-degree. Tyndell is accused of selling and possessing quantities of heroin on numerous occasions within Saratoga County.

SARATOGA COUNTY — Serdar D. Ozbay. Date of Birth: March 10, 1980. Middle Eastern Male, 5’-11’ / 190 Lbs., Brown Hair, Brown Eyes, Sometimes has a beard.

Sexual abuse (misdemeanor), endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor. 

The warrant was issued by the Corinth Town Court and stems from a complaint involving alleged sexual contact between Ozbay and a 15-year-old child. Ozbay’s last known address was at the Watertown Apartments in South Glens Falls. He in known to travel between New Jersey and South Glens Falls where he sometimes works and has also resided in Rotterdam and Schenectady.

Robert T. Kennedy, Jr., 34, of Princetown, pleaded June 1 to attempted reckless endangerment in the first-degree, first charged March 3 in Halfmoon. Sentencing Sept. 12.   

Shari Stephens, 37, of Mechanicville, pleaded June 2 to criminal possession of a controlled substance, first charged Jan. 5 in Malta. Sentencing Aug. 18. 

Christopher House, 34, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded June 2 to grand larceny, charged October 2021 to January 2022 in Malta. Sentencing Aug. 18. 

Matthew Scoons, 44, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced June 3 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to criminal mischief, in Malta. 

Norman Rose, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to misdemeanor DWI, and felony attempted grand larceny, in connection with October 2021 charges in Saratoga Springs.

Christine A. Kesar, 46, of Milton, was sentenced to 5 years of probation, in connection with the charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree.

Nicholas Palermo, 43, of Troy, pleaded June 3 to felony grand larceny, in Wilton. Sentencing Aug. 19. 

Arkel W. Saunders, 26, of Troy, pleaded June 3 to criminal possession of stolen property, in Malta. Sentencing Aug. 19

POLICE

Tyler Lumia, age 23, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 5 with assault in the first-degree, two counts felony assault in the second-degree, and criminal possession of a weapon – all felonies - in connection with an incident on Caroline Street Oct. 31, 2021, where two individuals suffered injuries in an altercation inside an establishment.
Lumia is accused of causing injuries to the two people with a knife. One victim was a 35-year-old man that suffered numerous stab wounds to his torso, while the other was a 26-year-old man who suffered a significant laceration to one of his hands, according to Saratoga Springs Police. Both victims required medical treatment. Lumia was arraigned in Saratoga County Court June 6 and was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash/$40,000 bond.

Renee Passino, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 7 with two felony counts and misdemeanor count criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with an April 15 incident behind the Saratoga Springs Holiday Inn that involved a report of shots being fired. Passino is accused of having possessed over 44 grams of crack cocaine, 2 grams of fentanyl, 7 suboxone strips, over $14,000 in U.S. currency, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. Passano was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail. The individual who fired the shot has yet to be identified and that part of the investigation is still on-going, police said. 

Jacklyn Parker, 21, of Watervliet, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 4 with DWI.

Shawn Skidmore, 37, was charged in Saratoga Springs June 3 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Logan Corkins, 18, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 1 with two counts sexual abuse, and two counts rape. 

Kimberly Steenburg, 39, of Gloversville, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 25 with DWI, aggravated DWI, harassment, assault, resisting arrest, and two driving-related infractions. 

Jesse McKenzie, 33, of Corinth, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 23 with aggravated unlicensed operation, license plate violation, and two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Marcu Vandeusen, 19, of Glenville, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 23  with petit larceny. 

Daniel Ovland, 27, Michael Rosebrook, 36, and Kaitlyn McEneny, 25 – all of Saratoga Springs, were each charged May 25 with criminal contempt- disobey court. 

Jeffrey Armstrong, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged May 25 with menacing. 

Luke Benoit, 31, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, was charged with DWI, in connection with a motor vehicle crash in Saratoga Springs. At approximately 12:50 a.m. on June 8, troopers observed a speeding vehicle traveling northbound on State Route 9 in the town of Malta. The patrol activated their emergency lights and attempted to initiate a traffic stop of the 2018 Subaru WRX.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop and instead accelerated towards the city of Saratoga Springs. A brief pursuit was initiated but was terminated by the patrol due to weather conditions, the high rate of speed of the vehicle, and the close proximity of the city of Saratoga Springs. Shortly after the pursuit was terminated, the patrol located the suspect vehicle which had crashed in front of 125 South Broadway in the city of Saratoga Springs. Benoit was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Albany Medical Center where he is in stable condition, according to State Police.

Nicole E. Daly, 50, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced May 27 to 30 days incarceration and 5 years’ probation, after pleading to felony grand larceny. 

Maneif Fields, 28, of Albany, was sentenced May 27 to 5 years’ probation, after pleading to attempted assault in the second-degree, a felony. 

Jonathan P. Raney, 44, of Selma, Alabama, pleaded May 27 to felony DWI, first charged November 2021 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing July 22. 

Michael R. Brownell, 52, of Northumberland, was sentenced May 26 to 3 to 9 years in a state incarceration facility, after pleading to aggravated vehicular assault. Brownell was involved in a hit-and-run crash in Northumberland on Sept. 24, 2021, driving recklessly and while intoxicated, according to Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. Following the crash into a motorcycle, Brownell fled the scene and did not stop to help the motorcycle operator – who was ejected from his vehicle, suffered traumatic injuries, and was transported to Albany Medical Center.    

John Sgorrano, 28, of Fort Edward, pleaded May 26 to criminal mischief in the third-degree, first charged in Moreau July 2021. Sentencing July 28. 

Brad Callanan, 39, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded May 26 to criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth-degree. Sentencing July 28. 

James D. Reed, 28, of Schenectady, pleaded May 26 to felony attempted burglary, first charged in Wilton March 2021. Sentencing Aug. 18.

Chalmers D. Davis, 43, originally of Schenectady, was sentenced May 27 to 40 years in a state correctional facility, following his March 28 convictions by a trial jury of two counts assault, one count attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with an August 2021 incident on Caroline Street in Saratoga Springs.  Following a late-night verbal dispute, “Davis nearly stabbed one man to death and came within inches of slashing another man’ throat,” according to a statement released by the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office. “The defendant offered a superficial level of remorse at best,” Judge James Murphy said, in the statement. “His acts of violence of the night of Aug. 10, 2021 were callous and demonstrated a complete disregard for human life.”   

POLICE

Luke Kilburn, age 18, of Ballston Spa, was charged May 31 with felony assault, and criminal possession of a weapon – a misdemeanor, in connection with an alleged incident that took place on May 25 on Woodlawn Avenue, near the parking garage. According to police, officers were called to the location regarding a fight that involved 15 to 20 people. The fight had dispersed prior to officers’ arrival; however, authorities were notified of an 18-year-old man that had just presented to Saratoga Hospital with a stab wound to his abdomen. Police said the victim – who had to undergo emergency medical treatment for the non-life-threatening wound – had been stabbed during the Woodlawn Avenue fight call. The investigation showed early on that the group involved was well- known to each other and this was not a random act of violence, police said. 

Mario M. Malcolm, age 27, Schenectady, was charged May 30 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a narcotic drug. Malcolm is accused of being in possession of approximately 5 grams of cocaine and 2 grams of fentanyl at the time of a vehicle stop. 

Jacob Wilusz, 24, of Hadley, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 31 with petit larceny. 

Donte Powe, 22, of Schenectady, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 31 with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. 

Katherine Halpin, 38, of Clifton Park, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 29 with DWI, and driving wrong direction on one-way street. 

Casie Lailer, 37, of Gansevoort, was charged in Saratoga Springs May 26 with criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, act in manner injure child, and moved from lane unsafely.

May 28 – June 3, 2022

COURT

James J. Garafalo, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to serve 4-1/2 years in a state correctional facility to be followed by 5 years of post-release supervision, after pleading to assault in the second-degree regarding his role in a Caroline Street incident last August. According to Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen, “Garafalo admitted to acting in concert with his brother and co-defendant in causing serious physical injury to the victim, Mark French, who was punched in the head and fell to the ground where his head struck pavement.” French was subsequently transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Heggen added.   Garafalo was also sentenced to an indeterminate term of 2 to 4 years for his plea to aggravated family offense, regarding a separate incident which occurred in January 2022, after intentionally violating an order of protection by having contact with a protected party via telephone while incarcerated at Saratoga County Jail. The sentences for the separate acts are to run concurrently – meaning Garafalo will serve both sentences at the same time.

Nicolle L. Bailey, 44, of Albany, pleaded May 25 to felony DWI, in connection with an incident in Halfmoon. Sentencing Aug. 3. 

Allison L. Bechtold, 46, of Albany, pleaded May 25 to misdemeanor DWI, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony, first charged in Halfmoon. Sentencing Aug. 3. 

Taylor C. Hatch, 36, of Moreau, was sentenced May 25 to 2 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to grand larceny in the third-degree, in Hadley.

Burglary (felony), assault (felony), assault (misdemeanor), endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor). 

Francisco Tolentino is wanted on on a Saratoga County Superior Court warrant. Tolentino was arrested in July of 2013 by the Sheriff’s Office after he broke into a residence in the town of Saratoga and assaulted a male and a female with a glass pitcher. Tolentino is a native of Mexico and was believed to have fled the country and returned to Mexico after being bailed out of the Saratoga County jail by his employer last fall. Tolentino is a migrant worker and may have or may soon be returning to the area for work. He is an experienced farm hand and had worked at a local dairy farm in the Town of Saratoga.

Kevin Lynch, 64, of Saratoga Springs, was charged May 13 with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Joseph Murray, 46, of Saratoga Springs, was charged May 12 with criminal trespass. 

Bianca Barnes, 24, of Schuylerville, was charged May 12 in Saratoga Springs with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property. 

Jerry W. Falconio, 57, of Wilton, was charged May 16 with the felonies: criminal sale of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a controlled substance- intent to sell. Falconio is suspected of selling heroin/fentanyl in or around the city of Saratoga Springs. The arrest was the result of a joint investigation conducted between members of the Special Investigations Unit of the Saratoga Springs Police Department and the Violent Gang & Narcotics Enforcement Team of the New York State Police.

Raven J. Stables, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged May 12 with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one misdemeanor count of bail jumping in the second-degree. Stables is accused of selling and possessing quantities of methamphetamine. 

A 49-year-old Saratoga Springs resident and a 35-year-old Greenwich man were charged with multiple drug-related offenses, following a several months-long investigation by Saratoga Springs Police. Search warrants were executed at about 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, at the Design Motel on Route 9, resulting in the seizure of drug packaging paraphernalia, several grams of crack cocaine, and over 13 grams of fentanyl, according to police. Corey A. Saxton, of Greenwich, was charged with two felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, one felony count assault; Injure Police Officer, and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges are based upon the total weight of the fentanyl and the belief the fentanyl was destined to be sold, police said. Saxton is also accused of causing injuries to a uniformed officer during the execution of the search warrant. The officer was treated for minor injuries. Saxton was sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.

Theodore O. Cooper, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal nuisance in the first-degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Cooper is accused of renting the room where the activities took place. He was released on an appearance ticket, police said.

Jeffrey Stone, 55, of Richville, NY, pleaded May 11 to failure to register as a sex offender in Wilton. Sentencing July 13. 

John K. Williams III, 40, of Troy, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years’ incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny in Halfmoon, and 1 to 3 years after pleading to felony grand larceny in Wilton. Sentences to run concurrently. 

Ryan M. Natalie, 42, of Glenville, pleaded May 11 to aggravated driving while intoxicated, with child, first charged in Clifton Park January 2022. Sentencing July 11. 

Kalvin L. Pittman, 39, of Amsterdam, pleaded May 11 to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second-degree, first charged on Saratoga Springs March 5, 2022. Sentencing July 6. 

Justice D. Locke, 20, of Indian Lake, pleaded May 12 to felony assault. Locke admitted entering the apartment of a Corinth man Oct. 26, 2021 and assaulting the man with an ax, causing serious injury to the victim, according to Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. Sentencing July 14. 

Devin C. Bryant, 25, of South Glens Falls, pleaded May 12 to felony burglary and felony strangulation, in connection with charged of December 2020 and June 2021 in Moreau. Sentencing July 14.
