SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Saratoga Jewish Cultural Festival opens its tenth summer season on June 6 at 7 p.m. with a virtual program by author and retired Skidmore Professor Steve Stern.
Stern initiates the 2022 Jewish Cultural Festival this summer with a brief jaunt through the history of Jewish mysticism from its early Talmudic origins through the Middle Ages and the creation of the Zohar, the extraordinary Book of Splendor, to the 16th century school of Isaac Luria in Safed and its influence on Jewish worship to the present day.
