Sue Ann Bisaillon Martone

MECHANICVILLE – Sue Ann Bisaillon Martone passed away Wednesday March 23, 2016. She was 69.

Born March 5, 1947 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Winifred Kenon Bisaillon. Sue Ann was a graduate of Bishop Gibbons High School. She then attended the Albany Medical Nursing School, receiving an associate’s degree in nursing. Sue Ann worked for Price Chopper for over 20 years, retiring as a store manager. She loved needle pointing, crafting, raising Bernise Mountain dogs and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Sue Ann was predeceased by her brother Robert Basaillon, Jr.

Sue Ann is survived by her husband, Ludwig A. “JR” Martone, Jr., whom she married December 30, 1982; two sons, Farrel Salsbury and his wife Vanessa, Russell Salsbury and his wife Darcy; four grandchildren, Alexander, Abigail, Morgan and Madison Salsbury; one brother, Tim Bisaillon and his wife Nicole; brother-in-law Larry Martone and his wife Elaine; sister-in-law Daria Martone and several nieces and nephews.

Sue Ann’s family wants to thank the staff at Van Rensselaer Manor for the care they extended to her and them for the past five years. They also want to give a special thanks to Sue Ann’s favorite aide, Brittnee Schulz for all of her heartfelt time and care she has given to her and to Doug and Diane Dyer for their constant support and selflessness throughout the years.

There were no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in All Saints on the Hudson Church South (St. Paul’s), 121 North Main St. in Mechanicville by the Rev. Tom Morrette, pastor.

Burial followed at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.

Arrangements were under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs.

Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H.
