Saratoga Springs, NY - Elizabeth Ann Rosse, 75, passed away December 26, 2011, at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
Born June 3, 1936, in Plattsburgh, NY, Ann was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Shambo. She moved to Saratoga in 1957 and worked for many years at the Saratoga Youth Commission Skating Rink and Man Power. Ann loved and cared for any stray animal that appeared on her doorstep claiming that St. Francis must have sent them. She was also an avid bowler.
In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by a sister, Mary Batten and two brothers, John and Kenneth Shambo.
Survivors include her siblings, Robert (Jann) and Donald Shambo and Margaret MacDougal; children, Robert (Razz) Rosse, Brian (Grace) Rosse, Maryann Fernandez, Kelly (Glen) Delecce and Suzanne (Robert II) Bradley; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her former husband, William Rosse.
Relatives and friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the William J. Burke and Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518) 584-5373. Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Neil Draves-Arpaia.
