SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Eagle’s network could expand to Western New York as it looks to acquire two more beer distributors.
Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service is in the process of purchasing Seneca Beverage Corp. of Elmira and Northern Eagle Beverages, Inc. of Oneonta; terms of the deals have not been disclosed. Both are Anheuser-Busch distributors, and both will operate under the Saratoga Eagle name once the acquisition is final.
Jeff Vukelic is the current President and Chief Operating Officer of the multi-generational family-run company that is Try-It Distributing – the parent company of Saratoga Eagle. Saratoga Eagle’s distributing network includes 14 counties alone, from Albany to the Canadian border. With these two new acquisitions they will be adding eight more counties to their network. According to their website, and prior to these acquisitions, Saratoga Eagle delivers upwards of five million cases annually to over
2,500 customers.
The company was also in the news back in November after purchasing four Minogue’s Beverage Centers located in Malta, Queensbury, Saratoga Springs, and Wilton. Similar to Saratoga Eagle, Minogue’s is also a multi-generational family-run company.
