Following his relocation to the United States, Baranov completed a second residency training in general surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, an affiliate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University, after which he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Dr. Baranov is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Center of Excellence Surgeon. He is in practice at the Saratoga Bariatric Surgery & Weight-Loss Program, located at One West Avenue, Saratoga Springs.
