Annual Builders and Remodelers Association Parade of Homes

LATHAM – The Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association (CRBRA) is pleased to announce the 17th annual Parade of Homes, taking place on June 3, 4, 10 and 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The self-guided tour of 15 new, award winning, custom homes demonstrates the latest in interior and exterior design, construction technology, architectural concepts, products and energy efficiency in the Capital Region.

Tickets to the Annual Parade of Homes are available for purchase at TRUSTCO Bank locations (www.trustcobank.com), Curtis Lumber at 885 Route 67 in Ballston Spa, or GNH Lumber at 899 New Loudon Road, Latham.

The event is open to the public and tickets are also available through the link https://register.growtix.com/e/crbra_parade_of_homes_2017.

“We are thrilled to once again be hosting the Parade of Homes,” states Pam Krison, CRBRA Executive Officer. “This year we have a record breaking fifteen homes on the tour, representing all lifestyles and budgets ranging from $380,000 to over $1 million. This is a truly great event that allows CRBRA to showcase some of the Capital Region’s finest builders and allows people the opportunity to cultivate ideas for their new home or remodeling projects.”

All ticket sales benefit the Center for Disability Services by providing funding for specialized mobility equipment.

Mobility, Opportunities via Education/Experience (MOVE) is a model program for children and adults at the Center which emphasizes mobility and skills development in every aspect of life for a person who has a disability: in the classroom, at home, in job training, at work, in recreation and other pursuits.

The Center for Disability Services and its four divisions—the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, Life Quality Solutions Incubator, Prospect Center in Queensbury and St. Margaret’s Center in Albany—are committed to creative solutions for individuals with disabilities in the classroom, clinic and workplace, with the goal of providing hope and encouraging achievement.   • Saratoga County Court Saratoga County District attorney Karen Heggen announced 49-year-old Anthony Gargano of Gansevoort pleaded guilty in Milton Town Court on March 5 to a violation of the state Agricultural and Markets Law, a misdemeanor, in connection with a Jan. 4 incident.
