Search For New Superintendent of Schools Narrows To Two
WATERFORD — The Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District Board of Education, in its search for a new Superintendent of Schools, has narrowed the field of qualified candidates to two finalists:
• Dr. Daniel Packard, principal of New Haven Elementary School of the Mexico Central School District in Mexico, New York
• Mr. Patrick Pomerville, principal of Queensbury Elementary School of the Queensbury Union Free School District in Queensbury, New York
As part of the hiring process, both finalists will present their entrance plan to the public. Mr. Pomerville will present his plan on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, and Dr. Packard will present his plan on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Both presentations will begin at 3 p.m. and will be held in the auditorium. All community members, parents and staff are invited to the presentations. Subsequently, the Board will conduct final interviews.
