Saratoga Children’s Theatre Makes 'The Wizard' Magic

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The cast (39 children strong, ranging from ages eight to sixteen), crew and one remarkable dog are set to perform for you!

Saratoga Children’s Theatre will present the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz this weekend at the Saratoga Music Hall, 474 Broadway. Performances are Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children at the door. I have it on good authority that Toto is so psyched to be with this bunch, he promises one of his greatest performances in his long, storied career! If that’s not enough reason, consider watching the future of singing and acting talent in this region as a bonus for venturing over the rainbow this weekend:

  • Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office  The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident call on Manchester Drive in the town of Halfmoon on April 21. Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H. Kim (age 33) of Halfmoon, who was charged with assault in the 2nd degree (class D felony) and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree (class A misdemeanor).
