SARATOGA SPRINGS —The CJD Foundation is hosting their annual 5k Charity Walk/Run to raise awareness and funds for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and other prion diseases. 

This year’s walk/run, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Veterans Memorial Park, 10 Adams Rd, Saratoga Springs, beginning at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be provided. 

There will be a 50/50 raffle the day of the event. Participants are encouraged to bring framed photos of loved ones for a memory table. There will also be a photo booth with props for participants to take their pictures. Kids are welcome.
