SARATOGA SPRINGS — Yaddo is preparing for the summer season with new public programming on offer in the Gardens.

The entrance to the Yaddo artists’ colony now bears a new gate. The Gardens portion of the compound is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The gates will be closed on Fridays. The gate is intended to help keep access roads open for artists in residence as well as for fire and emergency vehicles.

The Gardens, which opened earlier this month, will remain open through Sunday, Oct. 15. Limited parking is available at the entrance to the Gardens.

The public is also invited to attend The Art of Wellness, a series of Yoga classes held in the Gardens on select Sundays through September. RSVP at: yaddo.org/event/the-art-of-wellness.
