Allerdice Ace Hardware & Building Supply continued its commitment to supporting local families on Wednesday, September 16, with the presentation of a $5,850 donation to Kelly’s Angels at the Allerdice Ace Hardware location in Malta.

The 2026 contribution brings Allerdice’s total donations to the nonprofit to $16,410 over the past three years.

The 2026 donation represents 100% of raffle proceeds raised through the annual Allerdice Building Supply Charity Golf Outing, held July 30 at Mohawk River Country Club. The annual event brings together Allerdice customers, vendors, employees, and community partners for a day of golf and giving back.

Kelly’s Angels was founded by longtime WNYT NewsChannel 13 journalist Mark Mulholland in memory of his late wife, Kelly. The organization provides support to Capital Region children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer or another illness, including its signature Fun Grants, designed to give grieving children and families opportunities to create new memories together.

“Allerdice’s annual golf outing is a tradition that allows us to give back in a meaningful way,” said Don Cox, Outside Sales Associate for Allerdice Building Supply. “We are proud that the continued support of our customers, vendors and golf outing participants has allowed us to contribute more than $16,000 to Kelly’s Angels over the past three years and help support the important work they are doing for local families.”

Allerdice’s partnership with Kelly’s Angels reflects the locally owned company’s longstanding commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
