Annual Galway CSD Budget Vote and Board of Education Election

GALWAY — The annual Galway Central School District Budget Vote and Board of Education Election will be held on Tuesday, May 18 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. in the Galway High School Auditorium Lobby. 

There are two vacancies on the Galway Central School District Board of Education. These vacancies are for four-year terms, effective July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2025. These seats are currently held by Jay Anderson and Stacey Caruso-Sharpe.     

Petitions are available to Galway School residents interested in being a candidate for a seat on the Board. 

Voter registration for residents who have not voted in the school or town elections during the past four years will be held on May 4 from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the District Clerk’s Office located within the Galway High School. 

Residents can also register with their local Board of Elections office throughout the year.  Absentee ballots will be available.
