April Aldrich

GREENFIELD CENTER —April C. Aldrich, of Greenfield Center, born April 8, 1973, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, after a stoic four-month battle with cancer. Formerly of Monticello, NY, where she worked with harness racehorses as a trainer/owner for over 20 years. The daughter of the late Patricia (Patty) Decker and Gerald (Jerry) Decker. She was born in Port Jervis, NY. She graduated nursing school in 2014 and enjoyed her second career as an LPN until her passing.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Banks (Larry) of Mechanicville, son, Kip Banks, Jr. (Sam), son, Jordan Hoffman (Katelyn), daughter, Brianna Aldrich (Adam), and daughter, Billiejean Simonson all of Greenfield Center,  siblings: Lisa Cochran (Jim) of Milford, NJ, Mike McBride (Teri) of Hutchinson, MN, Lisa Weaver of Monticello, NY, and Tammy DeVaux (Jimmy) of Huguenot, NY; grandchildren Savannah, Avianna, Dakota, Wynter, and Anthony; many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rt 9), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Steve Harness officiating.
