Brookhaven Winter Park Hosting Ladies Nordic Ski Lesson and Lunch Event

PORTER CORNERS — A Nordic skiing “lesson and lunch” program for women will be held at the Brookhaven Winter Park on March 2 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

Instructors will provide a one-hour lesson to women grouped by experience level. Then a lunch  at the View Restaurant will follow. The $40 resident/$48 non-resident fee includes equipment rental, lunch, and a beverage. After lunch, ladies are welcome to ski for the afternoon at their leisure. Those not interested in Nordic skiing may choose to snowshoe instead. The event is modeled after Greenfield’s golf “lesson & lunch” for women, held multiple times last summer.

Brookhaven Winter Park is the Town of Greenfield’s free Nordic ski and snowshoe park. This year the park added a winter rental and gift shop. Guests may rent both Nordic skis or snowshoes on a first-come, first-serve basis. The park features seven cross-country trails and two snowshoe loops.
