Saratoga Springs Police Department

Dennis Walsh, 46, of Galway, was charged July 31 with criminal contempt. 

Nicholas Sarchioto, 32, of Renssalaer, was charged July 30 with criminal mischief. 

Jordan Jones, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 29 with assault. 

Bradford Bayer, 36, of Greenfield Center, was charged July 28 with criminal contempt, and aggravated family offense. 

Daevon Gaillard, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 28 with robbery.

Alex Gilmour, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 28 with petit larceny, and criminal impersonation.

Timothy Feldman, 22, of Summit, NY, was charged on Caroline Street with criminal possession of a weapon -2: loaded firearm. 

Ronald Owen, 58, of Greenfield, was charged July 27 with petit larceny, and criminal tampering. 

Billy Hayes, 58, of Omaha, NE, was charged July 27 with DWI, and a vehicle equipment violation. 

Kevin Cavanagh, 56, no address given, was charged July 26 with petit larceny. 

Jeffrey Morgan, 52, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 26 with DWAI, criminal possession of a controlled substance, refusal to take a breath test, operating an unregistered vehicle, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Elijah Marks, 24, of North Little Rock, AR, was charged July 24 with criminal mischief. 

Luis Tapara Quispe, 26, of Beford Heights, OH, was charged July 24 with DWI, vehicle equipment violation, and moving from lane unsafely.    

Saratoga County Court

Kyle Trimboli, 29, of Albany, was sentenced to 60 days in local jail and 10 years probation after pleading to sexual abuse in the first-degree, charged November 2022 in Saratoga. 

Luis A. Vazquez, 53, of Schenectady, was sentenced to 5 days in local jail and 5 years probation, after pleading to DWAI, charged December 2022 in Clifton Park. 

Matthew Schlegel, 37, of Petersburg, NY, was sentenced to 1-1/3 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny. 

Eric B. Sahm, 46, of Liverpool, NY, was sentenced to 2 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny, charged April 2023 in Wilton. 

Charles M. Starke, 55, of Mechanicville, pleaded to felony criminal contempt, charged May 2023 in Malta. Sentencing Sept. 25. 

Jose A. Colon, 53, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded to felony robbery, charged May 15, 2023 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Oct. 16. 

Khalee J. Gooden, 30, of Glens Falls, pleaded to strangulation in the second-degree, charged December 2022 in South Glens Falls. Sentencing Oct. 11. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

On July 27, the Sheriff’s Office charged Jeremy D. Smith, 30, of Malta with failure to register a change of address within 10 days as a sex offender. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond.  

NEW YORK State Police

On Aug. 9, State Police of Clifton Park charged Edward F. Storms, 30, of Halfmoon, with two counts of Reckless Endangerment in the second-degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. At about 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 9, Troopers responded to the area of Ocean Spray Boulevard in Halfmoon, for reports of a vehicle intentionally trying to strike children. The investigation determined Storms was reported to have recklessly operated his vehicle, nearly hitting two juveniles walking in the area after a verbal altercation with them. 

On Aug. 4, at about 11:15 p.m. State Police of Saratoga stopped a vehicle on State Route 9 in Saratoga Springs, for multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The driver was identified as Niladri Ghoshal, 42, of Saratoga Springs.  Ghoshal was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Saratoga for processing, where he recorded a 0.19% BAC.  

On Aug. 7, at about 7 p.m. State Police of Wilton stopped a vehicle on Butler Road in Moreau, for multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The driver was identified as Jay A. Sherman, 44, of Moreau.  Sherman was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where he recorded a 0.14% BAC. Further investigation discovered Sherman has had multiple DWI convictions in the last 10 years. He was arraigned at the Moreau Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.

Saratoga Police

Kevin Cavanagh, 56, was charged with petit larceny. 

Luis Tapara Quispe, 26, of Bedford Heights, Ohio, was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely, and no/insufficient tail lamps. 

Cleiton Fragance Da Silva, 26, of Troy, was charged with DWI, and no motor vehicle license. 

Joseph Gardner, 24, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving wrong direction.

Nicholas Lochiatto, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with two counts disorderly conduct and one count resisting arrest. 

John Patterson, 38, of Galway, was charged with criminal contempt, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated family offense. 

Joseph Sasso, 31, of Stoneham, Massachusetts, was charged with disorderly conduct/violent behavior. 

Tomesh Singh, 34, of Jamaica, N.Y., was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and moved from lane unsafely. 

Shawn Johnson, 41, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with disorderly conduct/obstructing traffic. 

Eric Petel, 36, of Charlton, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvent interlock, and three vehicle violations. 

Shayne Richardson, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Katie Hayden, 23, of Hadley, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Brendan J. Ryder, 29, of Cohoes, was sentenced to 6 years incarceration, after pleading to making a terroristic threat, charged March 2023 in Clifton Park. 

Michael D. Rosebrook, 38, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded to felony criminal contempt, first charged April 2023. Sentencing Sept. 27. 

Adam D. Tebest, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 1-1/3 to 4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to possessing a sexual performance by a child. 

Ryan W. Suprenant, 35, of Middle Grove, pleaded to possessing a sexual performance by a child, charged April 2022 in Greenfield. 

Nicole L. Politsch, 33, of Gloversville, was sentenced to 6 months incarceration and 5 years’ probation after pleading to aggravated DWI with child, charged November 2022 in Malta. 

Michael A. Fox, 38, of Troy, was sentenced to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to burglary, charged February 2023 in Malta. 

Cole D. Vincent, 54, of Troy, pleaded to felony grand larceny, charged June 2023 in Clifton Park. Sentencing Sept. 18.

James M. Brush, 48, of Malta, was sentenced to 2-4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny, charged March 2023 in Saratoga Springs. 

Donald W. Clark, 36, of Saratoga, was sentenced to 2-4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to felony grand larceny, charged April 2022 in Wilton. 

Todd M. Baker, 39, of Barnwell, SC, was sentenced to 26 to 52 months’ incarceration, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree, charged February 2023 in Mechanicville. 

Kylie W. Chambers, 36, of Schenectady, pleaded to felony grand larceny, charged July 2022 in Halfmoon. Sentencing Sept. 28. 

Dana M. Goosens, 32, of Clifton Park, was sentenced to 18 months’ incarceration and 1 to 2 years’ post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, charged December 2022 in Saratoga Springs. 

Jennifer J. Havalchak, 37, of Clifton Park, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation, after pleading to aggravated DWI with child, charged January 2023 in Halfmoon. 

Cody Cook, 30, of Malta, was sentenced to 1-1/3 to 3 years’ incarceration after pleading to attempted burglary in Malta, and 1-1/3 to 3 years’ incarceration after pleading to felony grand larceny in Waterford. Sentences to run concurrently. 

Jamie M. Guerrera, 46, of Schenectady, pleaded to felony DWI, charged December 2022 in Clifton Park. Sentencing Oct. 23.

Saratoga Springs Police

Kapone Brown, 26, of Woodbury, NJ, was charged with DWI, speeding, criminal possession of a firearm, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Bridgete Parisi, 53, of Hudson Falls, was charged with criminal trespass. 

Craig Brown, 48, of Westerlo, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and unsafe backing. 

Ian Osgood, 25, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal mischief, and obstructing governmental administration. 

Jacob Hayner, 37, of Mechanicville, was charged with petit larceny. 

Deborah Hart, 67, of the Bronx, was charged with grand larceny, and identity theft. 

Tasean Booth, 31, of Schenectady, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Patricia Wheeler, 69, of Milton, was charged with DWI, and failure to keep right. 

Lucas Henderson, 18, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with arson, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass. 

Cassandra Felice, 31, of Greenfield, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and three driving-related violations. 

Ursula Mangir, 34, of Argyle, was charged with criminal contempt. 

Ronald Harris, 65, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, moving from lane unsafely, and drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on highway. 

Michael West, 37, of Greenfield, was charged with four felony counts and two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit charged John A. Donaldson, 68, of Lackawanna, NY with sexual abuse in the first-degree, a felony. Donaldson is accused of having sexual contact with a child less than 11 years old. He was sent to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, $5,000 secure bond, or $25,000 partially secure bond. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lackawanna Police Department with the arrest. 

Caylee M. Ringer, 26, of Salem, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and promoting prison contraband – both felonies. Wyatt Carpenter, 28, of Moreau, was also arrested, following an investigation, and charged with attempted promoting prison contraband, a felony. Carpenter is accused of attempting to have contraband brought into the Saratoga County Correctional Facility. 

On July 20, members of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at Woodcrest Mobile Home Park, 377 Angel Road Lot 26 in the Town of Corinth following a lengthy investigation of drug trafficking within Saratoga County. As a result of the investigation and search warrant execution, Derrick J. Compton, 52, Jessica L. Westervelt, 38, and Jennifer L. Westervelt, 38, were each charged with multiple criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance charges. As a result of the investigation and search warrant, scales, packaging material, quantities of crack/cocaine, suboxone, and hydrocodone were seized, according to police. 

Saratoga County Court

Jamal Young, 32, of Albany, pleaded to grand larceny in the third-degree, charged November 2021 in Mechanicville. Sentencing Sept. 26. 

Casey Mohan, 36, of Clifton Park, pleaded to grand larceny in the fourth-degree, charged February 2023 in Greenfield, and burglary in the second-degree, charged in Providence. Sentencing Sept. 20. 

Robert E. Brown, 44, of Wildwood, NJ, was sentenced July 21 to 1-1/3 to 4 years incarceration, after pleading to felony burglary, charged June 2021 and October 2022 in Malta.  

NYS Police

On July 15, State Police of Saratoga responded to the report of an erratic vehicle in the area of Cramer Road in Malta. Troopers patrolled the area, located a vehicle matching the caller’s description, and stopped it on State Route 9. The driver was identified as John T. Buchanan Jr, 47, of Round Lake. Buchanan Jr. was charged with DWI and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Saratoga for processing, where he recorded a 0.21% BAC.  

On July 15, State Police of Saratoga stopped a vehicle on State Route 9 in Malta, NY, for multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The driver was identified as Gregory J. Perreault, 68, of Malta.  Perreault was charged with DWI and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Saratoga for processing, where he recorded 0.20% BAC.  

July 22 – July 28, 2023

Saratoga Police

Antonio Trujillo Mena, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 17 with criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, and assault. 

Kevin Cavanagh, 56, was charged July 16 with criminal trespass. 

Paul Gunya, 33, of Northum-berland, was charged July 16 with criminal mischief. 

Theresa Sheffer, 44, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 16 with DWI, and operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate. 

Ann Matrazzo, 62, of Lynn, Massachusetts, was charged July 15 with criminal possession of stolen property. 

Robert Seward, 54, of Utica, was charged July 15 with DWI, and two driving violations. 

Lauren Baran, 36, of Ballston Spa, was charged July 15 with DWI. 

Brandon Camaj, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 14 with assault. 

Christopher Cormier, 52, was charged July 13 with petit larceny. 

Aaron Godlewski, 31, of Altamont, was charged July 13 with grand larceny. 

Jordan Jones, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 13 with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvent interlock, and three driving-related violations. 

Stephen Gullotti, 39, of Malta, was charged July 12 with petit larceny. 

Michael West, 37, of Greenfield, was charged July 12 with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count criminal sale of a controlled substance. 

James Yawn, 42, of Schenectady, was charged July 12 with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Amanda Ashline, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 12 with aggravated unlicensed operation, and failure to stop at a stop sign.   

On July 6, members the Saratoga Springs Police Department Special Investigations Unit, in conjunction with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant on a residence located on the east side of the city. The several-months-long investigation began with complaints from concerned neighbors about possible illegal drug activity involving a resident of the home. Tiffany M. Salak, 35, was charged with three felonies – criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal nuisance, and the misdemeanor – criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

Korey J. West, Jason O. Allen, Bradley L. Allen, and Diane E. Allen were arrested following a lengthy investigation of drug trafficking in Saratoga County. Members of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit / Special Operations Team and the Saratoga Springs Police Department SIU executed a search warrant at 223 Bockes Road in the Town of Greenfield. As a result of the investigation and search warrant, scales, packaging material, quantities of fentanyl, crack/cocaine, and suboxone were seized. Korey J. West, 25, was charged with four counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts criminal sale of a controlled substance. All charges are felonies.  Bradley L. Allen, 67, Diane E. Allen, 62, and Jason O. Allen, 43, were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree. Jason Allen was additionally charged with criminal nuisance in the first-degree.  

On June 8, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office charged 19-year-old Riley A. MacLeod, of Wilton, with felony assault, and criminal possession of a weapon – a misdemeanors. MacLeod is accused of attacking a family member with a knife while at their home in the town of Wilton. The family member suffered a non-life-threatening, stab wound to the arm, was treated at Saratoga Hospital and released after treatment. 

On July 17, the Sheriff’s Office charged Michael D. Hepp, 34, of Troy, with felony robbery, in connection with a suspected robbery at Hayner’s Ice Cream and Country Store. It is alleged Hepp forcibly stole money and threatened the use of a firearm. The victim was not injured during the incident and the investigation is ongoing. Hepp was arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail, $60,000 bond, and a $300,000 partially secured bond.

Saratoga County Court

George R. Licata, 55, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded to DWAI, charged May 28 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Aug. 25. 

William S. Davis, 41, of Fultonville, pleaded to failure to register as a sex offender, charged April 18 in Malta. Sentencing Sept. 29. 

Jesus A. Perez, 22, of Schuylerville, pleaded to rape in the third-degree, charged March 2022 in Saratoga. Sentencing Sept. 22. 

Douglas J. Murray, 29, of Waterford, pleaded to felony DWI, charged May 14. Sentencing Sept. 19. 

July 15 – July 21, 2023

Saratoga Springs Police

Kenneth Rossen, 60, of Charlton, was charged July 5 with petit larceny. 

Keenjole Suggs, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 5 with assault. 

Brian Smith, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 5 with DWI and additional motor vehicle violations.

Benjamin Fedd, 18, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 4 with robbery and obstructing governmental administration. 

William Crain, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 4 with DWI, and driving without an inspection certificate. 

David MacIsaac, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 3 with criminal trespass. 

Cameron Folts, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 3 with DWI, and aggravated DWI. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Saratoga Springs Police Department SIU arrested Riley J. Older and Travis L. Smith, both of Greenfield, during a search warrant execution following a lengthy investigation of drug trafficking in Saratoga County. The arrests, which occurred June 16, were announced by the Sheriff’s Office on July 7.  

The search warrant conducted in the town of Greenfield yielded in locating quantities of powder fentanyl, pressed fentanyl pills, crack/cocaine and an AR-15 assault rifle with (4) thirty round ammunition feeding devices, police said. Smith and Older are accused of distributing and possessing crack/cocaine, powdered fentanyl, pressed fentanyl pills and possessing an AR-15 assault rifle with 30 round capacity feeding devices. 

Riley J. Older, 26, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree, one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree, and five counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree.

Travis L. Smith, 23, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree, one count criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree, one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree, and five counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree. Both Older and Smith were arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail pending further action in the matter, according to the sheriff’s office.

On July 4, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol and New York State Park Police conducted a joint boating enforcement detail on several bodies of water within Saratoga County. During the course of the detail, over two dozen vessels were found to be in violation of one or more navigation laws or local ordinances. While conducting safety inspections and advisements to the operators, four operators were found to be operating a vessel while impaired by alcohol. The NYS Park Police and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office observed and arrested four vessel operators for Boating While Intoxicated. The two people charged by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol are: Sara Santos, 23, of Halfmoon; Fernando Monteiro, 42, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The two people charged by New York State Park Police were not identified by name.    

Saratoga County Court

Matthew R. Merrill, 29, of Albany, pleaded to felony burglary, first charged November 2022 in Waterford. Sentencing Aug. 16. 

Nathan A. Lynn, 29, of Middle Grove, was sentenced July 6 to 5 days incarceration and five years’ probation, after pleading to felony DWI, first charged in Saratoga Springs. 

Timothy P. Murdick, Jr., 32, of West Sand Lake, was sentenced July 7 to 5 years’ probation, after pleading to felony DWI, charged November 2022 in Clifton Park. 

Nancy J. McCowan, 42, of Lexington, Kentucky, pleaded to felony DWI, charged April 2023 in Clifton Park. Sentencing Aug. 25. 

James B. Foster, 60, of Northumberland, pleaded to felony criminal contempt, charged May 2023 in Corinth. Sentencing Sept. 15. 

William C. Maguire, 28, of Vorheesville, pleaded to attempted rape in the first-degree, and attempted criminal act in the first-degree – both felonies, charged January 2023 in Providence. Sentencing Sept. 22.

NYS Police 

On July 6, State Police of Latham charged Jeffrey R. Bishop, 31, of Saratoga Springs, with four counts of possession of a forged instrument, four counts of grand larceny, and four counts of scheme to defraud. State Police previously received information about numerous fraudulent checks cashed throughout the Capital Region. The investigation determined in May 2023 Bishop allegedly possessed multiple fraudulent checks named to him and cashed them at financial institutions in Colonie, Guilderland, and Bethlehem. These crimes resulted in the theft of over $8,000, police said.

James Ballestro, Jr., 66, of Saratoga Springs, was charged July 2 with menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. 

Steven Byrd, 27, of South Carolina, was charged June 30 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Aidan Rosettie, 18, of Gansevoort, was charged June 30 with arson, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass.

Timothy Sims, 33, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 28 with menacing, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a weapon, and obstructing governmental administration. 

Mazie McCormick, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 27 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Michael Scensny, 33, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 25 with criminal mischief. 

Bekeim McCall, 39, of Troy, was charged June 25 with motor vehicle registration suspended, operating without an inspection certificate, and inadequate lights – vehicle equipment violation.

Tony Green, 24, of South Glens Falls, was charged June 25 with obstructing governmental administration. 

Jeremy Green, 36, of Glens Falls was charged June 25 with disorderly conduct: fight/violent behavior. 

Kenneth Hunter, 33, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 24 with criminal contempt, and aggravated family offense. 

Sam Horan, 33, of Connecticut, was charged June 24 with DWI, aggravated DWI, speeding, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Timothy Sims, 33, no address given, was charged June 24 with obstructing governmental administration, and assault. 

Robert Loya, Jr., 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 24 with criminal mischief. 

Jamaine Myers, 45, of Troy, was charged June 24 with obstructing governmental administration, criminal contempt, and aggravated family offense. 

Carly Marcucci, 38, of Albany, was charged June 24 with DWI, aggravated DWI, and driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

Chad Lang, 49, of Saratoga Springs, was charged June 24 with criminal possession of stolen property, and June 23 with criminal trespass, and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

James Greco, 47, of Wynantskill, was charged June 23 with criminal possession of a narcotic, criminal use drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without inspection certificate, vehicle equipment violation, and two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Erik Shepard, 32, of Fort Ann, was charged June 20 with petit larceny.

Nicholas Hendricks, 29, of Brooklyn, was sentenced July 5 to 2 to 4 years’ incarceration, after pleading to criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second-degree, charged October 2022 in Wilton. 

Jeremy Allen, 35, of Mechanicville, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years’ incarceration, after pleading to failure to register as a sex offender. 

NYS Police

On July 4, State Police of Wilton charged Peter W. Winslow II, 40, of Corinth, with burglary in the second-degree, criminal mischief in the third-degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, and harassment in the second-degree, after troopers responded to a home in Corinth, for the reports of a burglary in progress. Winslow is accused of forcibly entering the home, causing damage, and becoming engaged in a physical altercation with the resident inside. 

State Police of Wilton charged Alexa M. Scott, 29, of Fort Ann, with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, bail jumping in the second degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second-degree, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree, resisting arrest, and false personation. Additionally, Christopher S. Wern, 39, of Queensbury, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second-degree. The arrests occurred after troopers stopped a vehicle on Spier Falls Road in Moreau, for a suspected Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver allegedly was identified as Wern, and the investigation determined he did not have a valid driver’s license. The passenger was uncooperative and provided false identifying information but was later identified as Scott, according to police. It was determined Scott had an outstanding warrant for her arrest issued by the Moreau Town Court.
Drug paraphernalia was in plain sight within the vehicle, and both were arrested, at which time Scott resisted, police said. Both were allegedly found to possess controlled substances, and Scott to have concealed felony-weight narcotics.

Kyle Branagan, 24, of Ballston Spa, was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right on a two-lane road. 

John Thomas, 49, of Sand Lake, was charged with petit larceny. 

Karen Mott, 53, of Gloversville, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and passing a red light.  

Daniel Perodeau, 29, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, and unlawful imprisonment.

Cody J. Letourneau, 26, of Clifton Park, was sentenced June 27 to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to failure to register as a sex offender, charged December 2022 in Malta. 

Charles W. Semzock, 28, of Greenfield, was sentenced June 27 to 6-1/2 years incarceration and 12 years post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sexual act in the first-degree, charged February 2023 in Greenfield. 

Alexander G. Knapp, 32, of Altamont, was sentenced June 27 to 2 years’ probation, after pleading to DWI, charged June 2021 in Clifton Park.

Michael R. Andrews, 40, of Brooklyn, was sentenced June 29 to 15 years’ probation, after pleading to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, charged Feb. 2022 in Wilton. 

Emonie S. Rosado, 29, of Newburgh, was sentenced June 29 to 5 years’ probation, after pleading to felony identity theft, charged June 22 in Corinth. 

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

On June 25 the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a female who reported she had been sexually assaulted by a male she met on a dating app at a residence on Selfridge Road in the town of Moreau. Investigation into the complaint resulted in the arrest of 35-year-old Michael C. Pelletier of Moreau. Pelletier is accused of engaging in oral sexual conduct with the victim without her consent. He was charged with criminal sexual act in the third-degree, a felony, and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond, pending further proceedings in the matter.

On June 21, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit charged Benjamin J. Sloan, 44, of Burnt Hills with two felony counts of grand larceny in the fourth-degree, in connection with a September 2022 larceny complaint from a business in Gansevoort. Sloan is accused of having used his assigned company credit card to make unauthorized purchases for his personal use. Sloan was released on appearance tickets and is due to appear in the Town of Wilton and Halfmoon Courts, at a later date. 

NY State Police

On June 27, at about 11:55 p.m., State Police of Saratoga stopped a vehicle in the area of Crescent Avenue in Saratoga Springs. The driver was identified as Jacob M. Dagirmanjian, 37, of Ballston. Dagirmanjian was arrested and charged with DWI and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Saratoga for processing, where he recorded a 0.22% BAC, according to police.  Dagirmanjian was issued tickets returnable to the Saratoga Springs City court July 17 and was released to a sober third party.

Saratoga Springs Police

Gurnoor Singh, 26, of Latham, was charged with criminal trespass. 

Ricardo Gauna, 38, of Wilton, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Brent Bovee, 33, of Corinth, was charged with DWI, refusal to take a breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation, moved from lane unsafely, and failure to notify DMV of address change. 

Neil Pederson, 71, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. 

Timothy Everhardt, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal contempt, aggravated harassment, and aggravated family offense.  

Joseph Solevo, 35, of Milton, was charged with criminal contempt. 

Christina Marra, 24, of Clifton Park, was charged with DWI, moved from lane unsafely, drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on highway, and passing a red light. 

Mark McGreevy, 64, of Wilmington, Delaware, was charged with assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. 

Ricardo Henderson, 32, of Schenectady, was charged with DWI, and driving the wrong direction on a one-way street. 

On Friday June 16, members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department Investigations Division conducted 37 in person residence checks of those required to register on the New York State Sex Offender Registry and reside in the City of Saratoga Springs. Those who are required to register in New York are classified into three levels. Level 1 and Level 2 offenders are required to report their address yearly with the Department of Criminal Justice Services, and are required to report every three years for a photograph to be taken.  Level 3 offenders are required to report every 90 days to the local police agency, and have a photo taken every year.  Any changes to residency status for all three levels must be reported within 10 days to the local police agency for updating to DCJS. These visits were conducted for all three levels living within the city of Saratoga Springs. The Investigations Division is responsible for maintaining registry information and to ensure compliance with reporting to DCJS on changes, and update information of those required to register. These surprise checks were conducted to proactively ensure that those required to register and maintain current information with the Saratoga Springs Police Department were doing so. Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office

On June 17, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit and Road Patrol charged Timothy N. Perkins Jr., 35, of Milton with criminal sexual act in the first-degree, sexual abuse in the first-degree, and endangering the welfare of a child, in connection with a suspected sex offense at a residence on Adirondack Circle in the town of Wilton. Perkins allegedly had sexual contact with a child less than 17 years old known to him. He was sent to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 cash bail/$150,000 bond.

On June 16, patrols responded to a report of a 14-year-old who had been assaulted on Geyser Road in the town of Milton. Following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit, it was determined that the juvenile had been assaulted by a person known to him, shot in the face with a pellet or Airsoft type gun and had property stolen from him. The suspect, a 14-year-old boy, was located and charged with robbery in the first-degree, a felony. He was arraigned in Waterford Town Court by Judge Kopach, and released to the custody of his mother. He is scheduled to appear in Saratoga County Family Court at a later date. The victim was treated at Saratoga Hospital and released.

Dean E. Harrington, 54, of Corinth, was sentenced June 15 to serve two, 1-year local incarceration sentences to run concurrently, after pleading to attempted strangulation, and criminal mischief.  

Kip E. Asmus, 40, of Schenectady, pleaded June 16 to felony DWI, charged July 2022 in Waterford. Sentencing Sept. 11. 

Thomas B. Waicul, 50, of Halfmoon, was sentenced 1-1/2 to 4-1/2 years incarceration, after pleading to felony DWI, charged October 2022 in Saratoga Springs.   

Logan J. Corkins, 19, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded to attempted rape in the first-degree, in connection with charges in the town of Milton, and the city of Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Sept. 12. 

Layne A. Sheikowitz, 32, of Moreau, pleaded June 21 to felony DWI, charged January 2023 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Aug. 25.

Kerry Wilson-Kinaszewska, 51, of Brunswick, was charged with DWI. 

Eric Marcano, 48, of Hadley, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate. 

Dewayne Williams, 26, no address provided, was charged with criminal mischief. 

Matthew Zihal, 20, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal tampering. 

Jordan Wohl, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal tampering. 

Andrew Stawniczy, 28, of Ballston Spa, was charged with criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child. 

Nicholas Scaglione, 26, of Mechanicville, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and drinking or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on highway. 

Juan Espinoza Lopez, 23, of Stillwater, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Gerardo Zelayagranados, 32, of Shaftsbury, Vermont, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop at a stop sign. 

Joseph Murray, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with harassment in the second-degree.  

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office

On June 10, at approximately 5:14 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Cemetery Road in the town of Halfmoon for a report of a not-in-progress burglary. Investigation into the incident led to the arrest of 27-year-old Dylan M. Benaquista. Benaquista was charged with felony burglary, felony grand larceny, identity theft – a misdemeanor, and harassment – a violation. He is accused of entering and remaining unlawfully in a dwelling earlier in the day, subjecting an occupant to physical contact and stealing a debit card which he allegedly used several times throughout the day.

On June 8, the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Leon Carney, 19, of Warrensburg. Carney was charged with disseminating indecent material to minors in the first-degree, a felony, and the misdemeanors: sexual abuse in the second-degree, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child. Carney is accused of having sexual contact with a female under the age of 13 at a residence in the village of Victory Mills, Police said their investigation determined that Carney allegedly sent indecent material through a social networking app to the same female. Carney was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash, $2,000 bond or a $10,000 partially secured bond.

On June 12, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office charged 54-year-old Troy resident Cole D. Vincent with two felony counts grand larceny, single felony counts criminal possession of stolen and criminal mischief, and criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. On June 5 and June 12, the Sheriff’s Office received reports of a stolen construction trailer from a business located in the town of Halfmoon and a stolen pickup truck from a business located in the town of Clifton Park, respectively. The construction trailer was later recovered in Cohoes after being abandoned on State Route 787, and the pickup truck was recovered in a hotel parking lot in the town of Clifton Park. Following an investigation into the incidents, Vincent was charged with the suspected theft of both the construction trailer and the pickup truck. At the time of arrest, Vincent was allegedly in possession of the stolen pickup truck. He was also accused of causing damage to a gate owned by a business in the town of Clifton Park and trespassing on the property which was designed to exclude intruders. Vincent was sent to Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.

Saratoga County Court 

Michael A. Fox, 27, of Troy, pleaded to felony burglary, charged February 2023 in Malta. Sentencing July 26. 

Allen J. Millington, 26, of Gansevoort, was sentenced June 14 to 10 years’ incarceration and 20 years’ post-release supervision, after pleading to rape in the first-degree in connection with charges June to July 2017 in Moreau, and 2-1/3 to 7 years on the charge of promoting a sexual performance by a child, charged July 2021 in Wilton. The sentences are to run concurrently.  

New York State Police

On June 13, State Police of Saratoga arrested Stephen A. Rajeski, 53, of Northumberland. Rajeski was charged with grand larceny in the third-degree, a felony. In March 2023, the victim reported to New York State Police that they had entered into an agreement with Rajeski for contracted work for a new generator.  Rajeski allegedly never provided or installed the agreed-upon generator causing a financial loss to the victim of $8,894.

June 10-June 16, 2023

New York State Police

On May 29, State Police assigned to the Community Stabilization Unit charged Catherine A. Peacock, 36, of Corinth, with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second-degree. 

Additionally, Romere M. Anderson, 47, of New York, N.Y., was arrested for two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third-degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree. Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Clifton Park, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Peacock, and the passenger as Anderson.  The investigation discovered a defaced handgun, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of U.S. currency in the vehicle.  Both were arrested and transported to SP Clifton Park for processing. 

While in custody, Peacock was discovered to have felony-weight narcotics secreted on her person. Both were arraigned at the Clifton Park Town Court.  Peacock was released under the supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.  Anderson was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail.

On June 2, State Police of Wilton charged Glenn D. Clark IV, 28, of Wilton, with DWAI, criminal possession of cannabis in the third-degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second-degree, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of cannabis and multiple other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.  

On June 5, State Police assigned to the Latham Interstate Patrol arrested Bruce B. Bidwell, 51, of Gansevoort. Bidwell as charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third-degree, false personation, DWAI, and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office 

At approximately 10:50 a.m. on June 1, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of an alleged violation of an Order or Protection. After patrols conducted their investigation, Michael J. Arnold 64, of Schuylerville was charged with criminal contempt in the second-degree, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration. Arnold is accused of flying his aircraft, a 1976 Cessna 180, on June 1 in violation of an Order of Protection that had been previously issued by the Town of Saratoga Court. It is also alleged that Arnold physically resisted deputies when he was taken into custody. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court, and subsequently released after posting $1,500 cash bail. 

On June 3, 2023, the Sheriff’s Office charged Thomas J. Millington, 39, of Milton, with rape in the third-degree. Millington is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person less than 17 years of age while being over the age of 21. Millington was sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,400 cash, $5,000 insured bond, or $14,000 partially secured bond.

Gabriel E. Spring, 45, of Corinth, was sentenced to 2 years incarceration and 3 years post-release supervision, after pleading to strangulation in the second-degree. 

Joshua E. Pelletier, 33, of Gansevoort, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to felony DWI, charged December 2022 in Wilton. 

Eric B. Sahm, 45, of Liverpool, N.Y., pleaded to felony grand larceny, charged April 2023 in Wilton. Sentencing Aug. 4. 

Mario M. Malcolm, 28, of Schenectady, pleaded to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree, first charged in Saratoga Springs.

John Jarvis, 60, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with burglary, and petit larceny.

Lisa Schwepperhauser, 40, of Albany, was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Garrick Houser, 26, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, was charged with DWI, making an improper turn, and two vehicle violations. 

Effren Martinez Reyes, 19, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with second degree assault. 

Luis Ramirez Maldonado, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with second-degree assault. 

Jeremy Depasquale, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with criminal contempt, and obstructing governmental administration.  

Stephanie Rotolo, 34, of Nashville, Tennessee, was charged with DWI, failure to keep right, and failure to stop at a stop sign. 

Drew McCarthy, 39, of Halfmoon, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance not in original container.
