SPAC’S Virtual Beethoven Festival
Online. Free admission | 8 p.m. 

Jonathan Biss: In Concert & Conversation. For the past decade, Jonathan Biss has immersed himself in the music of Beethoven, especially the piano sonatas, solidifying his place as one of the renowned interpreters of the composer’s music. With his original performance at SPAC having been curtailed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Biss has carefully curated a special program recorded live from his home in NYC that is exclusive to the Saratoga Springs audience. He will guide viewers through an exploration of Beethoven’s prolific sonatas for solo piano including a performance of two of his favorite works.  For details, visit www.spacbeethoven.org.

12th Annual Saratoga Arts Celebration
National Museum of Dance, 99 S. Broadway, Saratoga Springs | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Get outside and enjoy some fresh air and some fresh art. We are practicing social distancing, one way traffic flow and each booth is set up with room to safely browse the art works without contact. Patrons and artists are asked to wear masks and be mindful of social distancing and hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the show. A juried event featuring 75 artists invited to exhibit. Walking Tours of Congress Park

Walking Tours of Congress Park

Join Saratoga Springs History Museum President Charlie Kuenzel and Executive Director James Parillo on a tour of historic Congress Park. Charlie and James will bring the group to the many mineral springs and historic landmarks located in park and discuss the history and founding of the City. This tour is limited to 20 participants. The cost per person is $20, $15 for members of the History Museum. Tour tickets also include admission to the fascinating Saratoga Springs History Museum in the historic Canfield Casino. All guests must wear facemasks at all times and adhere to social distancing regulations. Participants should meet in front of the Canfield Casino by 10:50 a.m. Pre-paid reservations are strongly suggested. Tickets can be purchased the day of the walk if any spots are available. Jailhouse Rock and Roll
Virtual, Course of Your Choice

A virtual race that will take place Saturday, August 15 through Saturday, August 29, 2020. We have added a choice of 3 bike ride lengths to the virtual for people that would rather ride than run or walk. Sponsored by the Saratoga County Historical Society at Brookside Museum. All proceeds from the race support the efforts of SCHS to keep history alive in Saratoga County through collecting, preserving, and displaying our history. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a group of volunteers dedicated to finding those children who are sleeping on the floor or otherwise unwanted conditions and delivering hand-built bunk beds free of charge. Come be a part of the teams building bunk beds for children.
