SARATOGA SPRINGS – Diane K. Bradley passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Saratoga Springs, Diane was the daughter of Vincent Bradley and Catherine (Moseman) Bradley. She was a proud graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and St. Mary’s Nursing School, where she began her lifelong calling to care for others. For 45 years, Diane served as a dedicated critical care nurse at Albany Memorial Hospital, where her compassion and skill touched countless lives.

She cherished time spent at the ocean and especially loved visits to Cape Cod. Above all, she treasured the love and companionship of her foster daughter, Tara Mosely, who brought joy to her life.

She is survived by her brothers, Robert Bradley, Richard Bradley (Sandi), and William Bradley (Linda); along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her deeply.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Catherine Bradley; her brother, John Bradley; and her longtime partner, Delores Kniskern.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Community Hospice and the Saratoga Hospital nursing staff for the compassion and care they provided to Diane in her final days.  Also, to Home of the Good Shepherd memory unit for their years of caring love and compassion that they gave to Diane.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

WELLS, MAINE – Marie Agnes (née Barber) Weeks passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on February 23, 1940, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Robert and Catherine Barber. Marie attended Holy Trinity Catholic School through the 8th grade. After graduating from Greenfield High, she began her career at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. It was there, in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, that she met the love of her life, Stanley A. Weeks. The two were married on June 15, 1963, beginning a partnership that flourished for more than 62 years.

Marie and Stan made their home in several places—Shutesbury, MA; Enfield, CT; Lincoln, NE; Lansing, NY; Cazenovia, NY; Greenfield, NY; and finally Wells, ME. Wherever she went, Marie made lifelong friends. During their years in Cazenovia, she was especially proud of her work at Cazenovia College, where she worked in the Career Center. She and Stan later lovingly restored the Weeks Family Homestead in Wells, turning it into a place of warmth and welcome for all who entered.

A woman of deep faith and tireless generosity, Marie served her communities wholeheartedly. She was a greeter at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wells and had been very involved with St. Joseph’s Parish in Greenfield, NY, before their move to Maine. She also dedicated time and energy to the Wells Branch Baptist Church and Oak Grove Cemetery, as well as the Wells Branch Community Hall, where she was always quick to volunteer and lend her talents.

Marie was an extraordinary friend. She cared for others with her whole heart, going out of her way to help, encourage, and love those around her. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion, always finding just the right way to make others feel remembered. Marie made everyone feel like family and was fully devoted to the people in her life. The saying that “no grass grows under one’s feet” could have been written just for her—she was always moving, always serving, always loving.

Marie died doing what she loved most – tending to her gardens. Anyone driving past the Weeks Farm can attest to the beauty and care that came through in every flowerbed. A close second to gardening was shopping—Marie was the shrewdest of shoppers, able to uncover a bargain anywhere. Her family often joked that her shopping skills were nothing short of legendary. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley A. Weeks, her loving children and their spouses, Susan Weeks Koppi (Jeff) and Stephen Harrison Weeks (Steven), her cherished grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel, and her brothers Robert Barber and Bob Felton. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear family friends who were blessed by her warmth and friendship. She was predeceased by her sister Joan (Barber) LaBonte and brothers Francis Barber and Richard Felton.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenfield, NY, followed by a gathering. Burial services will take place on Saturday, November 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wells Branch, ME, with a gathering to follow at the Wells Branch Community Hall. Memorial gifts may be made in Marie’s honor to St. Josephs Parish in Greenfield, NY or Wells Branch Baptist Church, Wells, ME.

August 19, 1946 – September 13, 2025

 A long road home, Philip G. Liska finished his journey on September 13, 2025, where he was reunited with his father. At last, exchanging the breath of life for eternal peace.

Born August 19, 1946, in Ballston Spa, Philip’s life was both simple and complex. Growing up in Saratoga, he was a St. Peter’s Academy graduate. He developed a passion for construction while working alongside his father Alex in the Saratoga Springs area, ultimately building several of his own homes independently.  He eventually became a carpenter for General Electric in Schenectady where he worked for 37 years.

Marrying his wife Virginia (Jones) in 1971, the couple lived in the Saratoga/Galway/Ballston Spa area their entire marriage, having one daughter, Chrissy and one grandchild, Megan. An only child himself, Philip, was predeceased by his mother, Virigina Wilkins, and his father, Alex Liska, who he missed tremendously.

 Philip was an amazing provider, protector, and a valuable influence, teaching lessons that could never be learned otherwise. Although he was unable to find much joy in his lifetime, there were moments that lit him up. He found comfort and loyalty within his wife, loved working with his hands, particularly building and using a hammer. He found solace in classic cars, enjoyed nature and fishing, and loved reading about the Civil War and the Alamo. On good days, his humor and sarcasm could fill a room, and his deepest passion was tinkering in the garage listening to the Rolling Stones. With hair like Elvis, the swagger of Mick Jagger, and a lifetime wardrobe of Johnny Cash black, he carried his own kind of style and spirit.

We release him with love for the good moments we shared and love for the lessons that came through our hardships. We pray you rest now, Philip. May you find peace as you reunite with your “people” in a place where there are no more battles to fight.

 The family would like to thank all the special people who helped through this process by sitting at bedside, helping to do healing work to help his transition, providing care, support, or a simple check-in.

A special thank you to the Wesley staff that were able to see through his disease and connect with him on a deeper level, and to Heather and Lisa from Community Hospice who provided invaluable support for Philip and the family during his final days.
