Schuylerville Taekwondo Instructor Arrested for Abuse

A Schuylerville martial arts instructor has been arrested after he allegedly had sexual contact with a child he instructed at his studio. 

Patrick Hall, 33, of Schuylerville was arrested on August 22 and charged with misdemeanor sexual misconduct and misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17. 

According to New York State Police, troopers received reports on August 21 that Hall allegedly had sexual contact with a child in July and August 2026. Upon investigation, it was found that Hall allegedly met the victim at his business, P.R.I.D.E Taekwondo, but that the alleged sexual contact occurred somewhere else in Schuylerville. 

P.R.I.D.E Taekwondo was started by Hall in 2018, according to a snapshot of the business’s website provided by the way back machine. It also stated that he had prior coaching experience at Skidmore, and SUNY Cortland where he coached their sparing teams. In an email to Saratoga TODAY, a Skidmore College spokesperson said their records don’t indicate that Hall was ever employed or formally affiliated with the college. 

While Hall was initially remanded into custody, he was later released on a $2,500 bail, according to State Police records. New York State Police are encouraging those with information on this case and other potential victims to contact them at 518-457-6811 or email at Crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
