Blotter Report – Week of July 17 – July 23, 2026

Between July 6 and July 13, the Saratoga Springs Police reported 686 incidents in their blotter report. This number includes duplicate incidents, unfounded, and non-emergency incidents. The top three listed incident types reported in this time are:

For the State Police, between July 8 and June 15, New York State Police reported 278 incidents that didn’t result in arrest in their daily blotter reports. The most common incident reported by State Police was a property damage accident with 47 incidents. The top three municipalities for incidents are: 

1. 45 in Clifton Park 

2. 36 in Wilton 

3. 35 in Malta

July 8, 2026. 7:17 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Galway resident in the Town of Galway on charges of felony 2nd degree grand larceny: property value exceeds $50,000. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred Oct. 2, 2025 in the Town of Charleton.

July 8, 2026. 8:00 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Arrest occurred at the intersection of Church and Seward Streets.

July 8, 2026. 8:25 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Greenfield Center resident in the Town of Greenfield on charges of felony 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon: previous conviction and misdemeanor 2nd degree menacing: weapon. Released on own recognizance. 

July 8, 2026. 2:50 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Schenectady resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief: intent to damage property. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred on June 29.

July 8, 2026. 2:58 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Middle Grove resident in the Town of Milton on charges of felony 2nd degree assault: intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, 1st degree robbery: use/threatens use of dangerous instrument, and 2nd degree gang assault: cause serious physical injury. Central arraignment. Original incident occurred on May 19.

July 8, 2026. 8:00 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Corinth resident in the Town of Wilton on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree bail jumping. Held- no bail.

July 9, 2026. 12:21 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Rensselaer resident on charges of 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Arrest occurred at the intersection of South Broadway and Lincoln Avenue.

July 9, 2026. 12:15 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a homeless/transient individual on charges of general violation of local law. Arrest occurred on Broadway. 

July 9, 2026. 4:54 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Stillwater resident in the Town of Stillwater on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operator leaves the scene of a personal injury accident- fail to show license- 1st offense. Appearance ticket issued.

July 9, 2026. 9:00 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Clifton Park resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor 2nd degree aggravated harassment: threaten by phone/ no legitimate purpose and misdemeanor criminal obstruction of breathing or circulation- apply pressure. Central arraignment.

July 9, 2026. 10:58 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Brooklyn resident on charges of 3rd degree assault: with intent to cause physical injury. Arrest occurred at the intersection of Union Avenue and Regent Steet.

July 10, 2026. 12:59 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Wilton on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Appearance ticket issued.

July 10, 2026. 6:39 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon, 3rd degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, and 3rd degree menacing. Arrest occurred on Zephyr Lane.

July 10, 2026. 7:25 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Milton on charges of misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17. Appearance ticket issued.

July 10, 2026. 9:44 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident in the Town of Greenfield on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense, and aggravated DWI- BAC of .18 or higher- no priors. Appearance ticket issued. Arrest occurred after an accident on Middle Grove RD.

July 10, 2026. 11:52 p.m.- Saratoga Springs arrested a homeless/transient individual on charges of 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Arrest occurred on Adelphi Street.

July 11, 2026. 1:25 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of resisting arrest, 2nd degree obstruct governmental administration- prevent official function, 3rd degree assault: with intent to cause physical injury, 2nd degree criminal personation: other person, and aggravated family offense- more than one offense. Arrest occurred on Lincoln Avenue.

July 11, 2026. 3:35 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Glens Falls resident on charges of DWI- first offense, driving on the shoulder and refusal to take a breath test. Arrest occurred on Route 50.

July 11, 2026. 5:00 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of 3rd degree criminal tampering.

July 11, 2026. 7:42 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Ballston Lake resident on charges of DWI- first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher. Arrest occurred at the intersection of Phila and Regent streets.

July 11, 2026. 5:09 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Waterford resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor petit larceny and 5th degree criminal possession of stolen property. Appearance ticket issued.

July 11, 2026. 6:59 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident on charges of identity theft 2: assume other’s identity- goods over $500, and 4th degree criminal possession of stolen property- possession of credit card.

July 11, 2026. 8:31 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Ballston Lake resident on charges of DWI- first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Arrest occurred on Crecent Avenue.

July 11, 2026. 9:05 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Milton on charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief: intent to damage property. Appearance ticket issued. 

July 11, 2026. 10:38 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of 2nd degree harassment: physical contact. Arrest occurred on Jefferson Terrace. 

July 11, 2026. 10:38 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of resisting arrest.

July 11, 2026. 10:45 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Schuylerville resident and Greenfield Center resident in the City of Saratoga Springs on charges of felony 5th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: cocaine 500 milligrams and misdemeanor 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Investigation pending.

July 12, 2026. 4:31 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Corinth resident in the City of Saratoga Springs on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued.

July 12, 2026. 1:48 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Troy resident on charges of 3rd degree criminal mischief: damage to another person’s property amount over $250. Arrest occurred on Lake Avenue.

July 12, 2026. 10:10 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a homeless/transient individual and a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Arrests occurred at the intersection of Aletta and South Streets. 

July 13, 2026. 3:05 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Fort Plain resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Appearance ticket issued. Arrest stemmed from two vehicle accident on Route 146.

July 13, 2026. 5:59 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a South Glens Falls resident in the Town of Moreau on charges of DWI- first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Released to third party.

July 13, 2026. 6:06 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of disorderly conduct: obscene language/gestures. Arrest occurred at the intersection of Circular Street and Broadway.

July 13, 2026. 10:38 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Green Island resident on charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief: intent to damage property and 4th degree criminal mischief: disable equipment to prevent emergency call to first responders.

July 14, 2026. 9:02 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Glens Falls resident in the Town of Wilton on charges of misdemeanor reckless driving. Appearance ticket issued.

July 14, 2026. 12:02 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Gansevoort resident on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Appearance ticket issued.

July 14, 2026. 10:41 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Wrentham, MA resident in the Town of Halfmoon on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense.
