Greenfield Man Arrested for Possessing Child Exploitation Material

A Greenfield man has been arrested and charged with several felonies by New York State Police after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Brandon Quintana, 32, was arrested on Sept 9 by State Police on charges of felony promoting a sexual performance by a child, felony possessing a sexual performance by a child and felony tampering with physical evidence. 

According to New York State Police, State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and a subsequent investigation found that Quintana allegedly promoted and possessed “images consistent with child sexual exploitation.” 

During the execution of a July 30 search warrant on his residence, State Police alleged that Quintana barricaded himself in a room and attempted to destroy evidence on electronic devices. Analysis of multiple electronic devices led to his Sept. 9 arrest. 

Quintana was arraigned in the Greenfield Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
