Children’s Museum at Saratoga Honors Veterans with Buy-One, Get-One-Free Admission on Veterans Day
The Children’s Museum at Saratoga (CMAS) will honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with a special admission offer all November long, in honor of Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Veterans visiting the Museum will receive buy-one, get-one-free admission, providing an opportunity to spend the holiday exploring, playing and learning alongside their families. This means that any Veteran may enjoy the museum with the paid admission of a child.
“Veterans Day gives us an important opportunity to recognize the men and women who have served our country, while also celebrating the families who have supported them along the way,” said Sarah Smith, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum at Saratoga. “We hope this small gesture gives veterans and their families an opportunity to spend meaningful time together and enjoy everything the Museum has to offer.”
This November offer for veterans builds on CMAS’s ongoing commitment to military families. The Museum participates annually in the Blue Star Museums program, which provides free admission to active-duty military personnel, including members of the National Guard and Reserve, and their families during the summer months. CMAS also offers reduced admission for veterans throughout the year.
Visitors can spend Veterans Day, and the month, exploring the Museum’s hands-on exhibits designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and learning through play.
Veterans should present proof of military service to receive the admission offer.
