Blotter Report
Between August 26 and September 1, New York State Police listed 195 incidents in their daily blotter that did not result in arrest. The most common incidents were property damage accidents. State Police identified 55 individuals involved in accidents, the average age of which was 44. They also listed the arrests of 28 individuals on 75 charges. The average age of these individuals was 34. Note: State Police did not issue a blotter report on August 28.

August 26, 2026. 12:05. p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident in the City of Saratoga Springs on charges of felony 3rd degree grand larceny: property value exceeds $3,000 and 2nd degree possession of a forged instrument. Released on own recognizance. Investigation pending.
August 26, 2026. 4:00 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Greenfield resident in the Town of Greenfield on charges of felony 1st degree criminal contempt: violate order of protection- physical contact, felony aggravated family offense- more than one offense within five years, misdemeanor criminal mischief: intent to damage property, and misdemeanor criminal contempt: disable equipment to prevent emergency call. Central arraignment
August 26, 2026. 4:18 p.m.- New York State Police arrested an Abany resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor 2nd degree reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a noxious matter. Appearance ticket issued.
August 27, 2026. 6:23 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Schenectady resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of felony 3rd degree burglary: illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, attempted felony 3rd degree burglary: illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, three counts of felony 2nd degree criminal mischief, five counts of misdemeanor 5th degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of misdemeanor possession of burglar tool, two counts of misdemeanor reckless endangerment- property, and seven counts of misdemeanor petit larceny. Investigation pending.
August 28, 2026. 5:59 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Harrisburg, PA resident in the Town of Halfmoon on charges of felony 2nd degree forgery: official document, felony 1st degree possession of a forged instrument, felony 2nd degree possession of a forged instrument, attempted felony grand larceny: property exceeds $3000, and misdemeanor 5th degree conspiracy. Held- no bail.
August 28, 2026. 6:44 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Milton on charges of felony criminal contempt: prior conviction in last five years, and felony aggravated family offense- more than one offense within five years. Held- no bail.
August 28, 2026. 10:53 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Gloversville resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of felony 3rd degree criminal possession of stolen property- value over $3,000 and misdemeanor false personation. Appearance ticket issued.
August 29, 2026. 7:44 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Gansevoort resident in the Town of Moreau on charges of felony DWI: previous convictions within 10 years, and felony operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08- previous conviction with 10 years. Appearance ticket issued.
August 30, 2026. 1:04 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Middle Grove resident in the Town of Greenfield on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree assault: with intent to cause physical injury. Released on own recognizance.
August 31, 2026. 1:27 a.m.- New York State Police arrested two Corinth juveniles in the Village of Corinth on charges of felony 3rd degree burglary: illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, felony 3rd degree criminal mischief: damage another person’s property- amount > $250 and misdemeanor petit larceny. One of the juveniles was additionally charged with resisting arrest. Appearance tickets issued.
August 31, 2026. 6:30 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17. Central arraignment.
September 1, 2026. 11:54 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Wilton resident in the Town of Wilton on charges felony 3rd degree grand larceny: property exceeds $3000. Appearance ticket issued.
September 1, 2026. 6:03 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Cobleskill resident in the Village of Schuylerville on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense, aggravated DWI- BAC of .18 or higher- no priors and reckless driving. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred on June 9 in the Town of Easton.
September 2, 2026. 12:11 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Galway juvenile in the Town of Ballston on charges of misdemeanor unauthorized use of a vehicle: without owner consent. Appearance ticket issued.
